It doesn't matter how good the offer is, if it involves cashback then it'll be colder than a penguin's bottom on here.

I quite like this one and as mine is up the end of the month might be tempted.

It doesn't matter if it involves cashback, you won't get a deal like this without cashback.

It would matter if you were dealing with coolnewmobile etc but you're not, you're dealing with phones4u whose cashback terms are very favourable.

Only four claims to make, the cashback doesn't disappear if you miss one and you have 60 days to make the claim after you recieve your bill. That's not exactly bad terms.

Add £50 to the deal from quidco and it starts to look even better. The phone is also worth about £90 isn't it?

I hate cashback too, but have had 5 phones and paid nowt (got 2 Kids to support textwise) but recently had a failure with mms who went into liquidation / administration, so I lost out on that one! I think its a good deal my daughter has this phone and its good. I had not thought of the actual phone value as well, so you should be up 15 + 90!

On another matter, I am new here, how do you add to the heat of an item (not this one 'cos its mine!)

Just press the red up arrow on the original post.

I have had loads of cashback deals and as long as you choose the company well I don't think you can go wrong.

However this site seems to be full of people who hate them. To be honest I'm happy for it to stay that way as it is all the people who just buy a phone with a standard contract who subsidise the rest of us

Quidco not working for me :x

It did for me, I always clear my browser cache history and turn off ad filters. Use ccleaner to clean everything before you start to buy. Also I only use MS internet explorer when buying. Firefox for browsing!
Good Luck!

I must say, this really is a good phone. Very sleek, I prefer it to my n95.

I now have got the phone from the above deal, mine is brand new, the only clearance bit is a used mains charger and thats hardly used. I phoned customer services to ask about the cashback dates and they e=were really helpful, surprised me!

Just picked mine up and so far I'm very impressed.

Like previous poster mine is in perfect condition-fully boxed and still with protective stickers on.

With a nice phone, reputable company with high street stores and what looks like easy and straight forward cashback I can't understand why anyone would have voted it cold - more fool them I say.

Would add heat and rep again if I could.

How have people managed to get this deal ?

I've been clicking through on it for almost a week and all I can get is "buy later" where I have to register my email address to be notified when the offer is in stock.

Ready to give up on it and pick a different deal that I can actually buy !

I think it is just a case of keep checking, when I first went to buy it said buy later and told me to put my email address in. The next time I checked it was buy now although I didn't get an email to inform me so don't rely on that.

If I was you I'd keep checking but also keep looking for other ones as the offers tend to come and go in a random fashion. So if you see one you like snap it up - as long as it is with a reputable company that you feel comfortable with.

Usually there are loads about 6-8 weeks before my contract is up but non closer to the time so I'm quite chuffed with this one.
