Well I'm mightly annoyed about this seeing as I paid £194 for it last week (which was still a good price compared to other retailers who are selling for £200 upwards).

Anyway - now down to £171 at Amazon. I think this a great TV - got it in the bedroom and it looks lovely.

Think Samsung might be discontinuing it, hence the price drop but you should grab it now, I reckon.

I Posted this about 2 months ago at £180 and it went to pretty hot then so this should be hotter. This is a stunning tv. USB Movie playback and MP3 playback etc is awesome, we have it our kitchen with a 1TB HD Velcro'd on the back full of media.

It's AWESOME

They're excellent for returns, didn't realise they did this though. Will give that a pop then. Cheers.

It went back down to £180 a couple of days ago and I asked the mods to unexpire it. They replied that I should repost - when I got round to doing that it dropped to £171.

Yep rightly so.... this is a good tv and a good deal.... I don't feel bad about losing the £9... the TV is well worth £180, this is just sweeter

Which is better overall?
The Sammy, or this LG?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-M2280DF-22-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B003QXLQ10

The LG is full 1080p and has a sub woofer so surely that is the better TV no? It's even a couple of quid cheaper. I wonder if the quality of the Samsung is superior or some other reason to make it more expensive with lesser features?

just got the lg for 160 off ebuyer craqcking tv and sounds good

You are basically paying a premium for the white.. quite a large one.

If you look at http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/new-lg-w2363d-23-3d-lcd-monitor-hdmi-3-ms-16-9-adjustable-display-angle-1920-x-1/910237.

1 inch bigger and 3D and yet cheaper.

Very tempted by this, want a white tv for the kids bedroom and this looks lovely!

Just emails Amazon, I paid £180 last weekend :)

Excellent TV, even more so with the USB media player.

Was told by an expert in Currys that cheap TV's had this feature withdrawn and I needed to buy a premium one (>£400). The things they say to make a sale!!

Response back :

"Greetings from Amazon.co.uk Thanks for writing to us about the recent price change on the ''Samsung UE22C4010''. I recognise that you have a choice of retailers and appreciate that you prefer to order from us. Please note that we do not extend a post-order price guarantee. I've reviewed your order and see that the price change was significant and you just received this item from us.

Under the circumstances, I'll make a one-time exception for you and issue a refund for the price difference in the amount of 9.02 GBP. Refunds usually go through within 2-3 days and you will see this amount credited on your next statement."

So it's a policy they don't have - but honour it anyway!

'one-time exception' ... basically saying we do this but don't take the p*ss.

You gotta love Amazon!

Very tempted but the price is back to £194 now. :(

Showing £194.99 now

OK so expired now but did anyone actually buy the TV for the price? Seems most of us just used the deal to get refunds from Amazon cos we bought it for more in the past!
#22
I did end ny email to them with

"I would be prepared to return my recent purchase for a full refund and repurchase at the lower price but think a refund of the price difference would be much easier for both parties :)

In honesty I wouldn't of fir £9 but eh, every little helps!!
