Its a wee bit thicker out the back than the edge lit models I have seen in currys - depends if you are going to wall mount or put on a stand - I have it on a stand so there is no difference. I went from a 32 inch CRT to this it looks like a ferrari parked beside a transit van in comparison.
For the irish / northern ireland folks on here its also saorview compatible its picking up the RTE2 HD signal and programming guide no problem.
