i saw this deal as i was looking for a good 40 inch tv to put on my bed room and I came across in pixmania..... seems very decent and it is usually around £500 price range and also 2 3d glasses included :D.

im not sure whether it is a freeview HD or normal freeview because on samsung website it says freeview HD i believe but it says nothing like that on pixmania website but come on at this price it cant go wrong for 200hz led tv.

to get that price use the link add to basket and £16.80 will be delivery charge and make sure u delete the two junk ( i think its discount/privilage card and credit card from pixmania) in the checkout.
and use code : UKPIXOCT5 to get £5 off
and 3% quidco tracked at £8.85 for me...so yeah :)

Must be a good price, if its a hot pixmania deal....

Seems a very good price, everywhere else is £500ish. Argos had it reduced to £430 a little while back by the sounds of things. A hot deal if that's what you're after but there are some very mixed reviews putting me off taking the plunge.

Anyone know if this will work with nvidia 3d vision.

only downside, its Pixmania.

Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong but don't Richer Sounds price match on these, so you could get it cheaper and from there store?
#17
I think this is the european model as it says this product requires a mains adaptor for Uk, or is that just normal and would i make any difference to warranties

If you value your money i would go else were, They are conning ****, Its a NO NO!!

looks a good deal.
But dont forget its just a 3d tv not a smart one. Personally I prefer a smart tv rather than a 3d, like d5520 what i have.

Took the plunge yesterday, seems a very good deal. Cannot find this cheaper on the net, even went to Comet!

Not many professional reviews but public ones seem ok, and spec is really good for the money. Not that bothered about 3d but for this price, why not.

Anyone know if this will work with nvidia 3d vision.

i don't think it will , it only has hdmi ports and doesn't 3d vision require dual link dvi for 1080p / 120hz required for active 3d gaming?

check out avforums, a user called mocca has a thread about various 3d tv's and compatibility with pc's. very informative too.

Sorry OP but Pixmania = Cold. Terrible customer service. Make sure you buy a 3 pin Brit plug if you buy this as well.

Cold, as would never purchase from this company, and would not recommend to my worst enemy!

To update firmware & could have a future purpose. If your messing with sevice menu setting.A way for them to know.
#29
I would question anything that Pixmania or WAE sell, If you want too lose your money just before Christmas to give too these shysters, I would stay well clear!!!
#30
Always google the firmware before i

Isacom, Its different for different people. I know of my experience with pixmania i would not buy off them again, They can not be trusted!!
#34
Great spec but very deep so when wall mounted it will stick out quite a bit. I went for the not-3d-but-smart ES5500 though this was £100 more. If wall mounting isn't a concern then it's a bargain!

I can't completely confirm it, but it is unlikely. Richer sounds normally insist that you add the price of the 5 year guarantee and fastest delivery to the price and they won't include the voucher and Quidco. This would bump it up by around £100.

[Also, the fact that these have non-UK plugs may be seen as grounds for refusal]

checked Richer sounds website price match - as well as the 5yr warranty part they only price match UK e/retailers.
#38
Just rang Richer Sounds. Inc delivery & the 5 year guarantee. Their price match comes in at £441

Dont know about the seller, but the telly is definitely worth it. Bought it for £430 from Argos a few months ago and I thought it was a bargain then. There is a non-3d variant of this model that has smart tv functions instead, that was priced the same when I was looking. Personally went for 3D as I have a ps3 that does all the smart tv can do anyway. Be aware though that the Smart TV model isnt wireless per se, you either connect it to your router by ethernet or buy the samsung wifi dongle (priced at £40 last time I checked).

Would definitely recommend the above TV at this price though, absolute bargain. You can plug in a USB drive/ext hard drive and play movies on the telly that way too. Has a wide variety of codec support.

I remember the event of the £150 47" LED TV that we ordered from Pixmania but never got. Good times.....
