Picked this up in the Black Friday sale at tesco for a bargain 300, but still worth 330 all day long. The sport modes awesome on it and the upscaling of graphics for FIFA 17 on a standard ps4 blew me away

Are 4k tv's at this price good yet? By that I mean that I saw earlyish 4k tv's which were very 'laggy' when actually displaying things in 4k. Colours were rubbish as well. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure a TV expert may say otherwise, but I too bought this in the Black Friday sale, and as already mentioned the upscaling it does with my standard PS4 has really impressed me. Colours are excellent and black's in HDR mode are fantastic. I've personally experienced no lag in gaming playing Battlefield 1, Dark Souls, FIFA and a few racing games. The speakers also are not to be sniffed at, they are a real hidden bonus on this TV. Watched Planet Earth 2 on Freeview HD and the colours were amazing. Smart features work great, only downside is the YouTube app won't keep me logged in. Other than that, very happy with it.

Thanks for your reply. Have you played any 4k content through it?

Played Amazon Prime through it, 4k. Not had any issues, looks good. But that can also be to do with internet speed too.

I managed to get John Lewis to price match at £300 on Black Friday so have their 5 year guarantee. Plus £25 for 5 year insurance against accidental damage - no brainier when you have 3 young kids!!

Yeah, it's annoying isn't it.

How did you get this for 330? Or was it the ticket price?

As above, can't understand the pricing. Presume it was an "in store" specific discount?
Looking for a decent upgrade to my pretty ancient front room beast!

Can you get all the catch up apps with this TV? Meaning the terrestrial channels? I've read that some samsungs don't have them all available which is surprising when it's supposed to be a smart TV. Many thanks in advance.

You can't get the 4OD channels, but other than that, I "think" all the others are there.
I believe 4OD is actually missing on quite a few manufacturers products too though.

Just an added extra, my TV received an update tonight. It's added UHD to the YouTube 4K channels. Nice little bonus!

4OD annoys me as they force you to watch far too many commercials! Thanks Reb. Just need to find a store selling it at this price now!
