Just my two cents
What's the point of linking to something that costs 3 times more?
I would normally agree as a smart box is much more likely to be kept up to date. However if a TV has only 2 HDMI sockets you can't really afford to "waste" one on a smart box.
absolutely
Is this really an issue? Sound quality wiring your sound bar from headphone socket will be terrible. Get yourself in the optical age.
Just buy an hdmi switch off amazon for less than a tenner and you're sorted.
Great price for a Sammy tv!

Are you sure about that? I would be amazed if that's the case.

Looking at the back of it (from pictures) it doesn't seem to have one.
Get a now tv box for a tenner. Job done!
My LG doesn't have a headphone socket. Does my head in since I have a set of PC 2.1 seakers I could be using them with.
Most sammys have the head phone socket mounted on the side panel, but you are correct description states no socket, craxy in the sound bar mad world we live in. But, these do have very good sound for in built.

buy a Kindle.
They seem to have a very similar specification but, if the Tesco site is to be believed, there are a few small differences which can see if you use the "Compare" facility on the Tesco site. Not enough to justify the current price difference though.
One of those hdmi hubs solves that?
Yes. This one is very good.

Defo 100hz. I've got a modified version (rm48d) of this TV and its perfect for our needs. Great HD picture (when calibrated) and low response time for gaming.
Seems to be that the H5000 has a headphone socket but only HDMI 1.4 while this has no heaphone socket and HDMI 2.
This thread on avforums seems to suggest the 100Hz is 'processing rate', not true refresh rate.

Ok, time to clear some things up. This doesn't have HDMI 2.0 - that's a load of twaddle. Secondly, I'm basing my assumption re. 100Hz on the fact that my TV (RM48D, which is based off this model) can handle 60Hz properly and doesn't mess with it. Poor logic, and it may be the case that it can't truly do 100Hz, but what would you possible want 100Hz for that 60 won't suffice for? It's all a load of marketing gubbins. Thirdly, if you're interested in it then just buy it. Don't expect it to beat a JS9500, but for what it is it's a great TV. Can't comment on the headphone socket as mine does have one (although no optical out), but then like I said, mine isn't identical to this one.

Aye, I checked the side too. Forgot to mention. No side jack either from what I can tell.

for my shop digital menus. Contemplating returning them and buying this for overall £237 saving.
