This was my tv of choice until I realised the stand is too wide to fit on my 100cm tv stand, at this price an absolute bargain...

Richer sounds is always 6 year guarantee. Makes you think why has this tv dropped in price but ks8000 never dropped . Well £100 off. I bought ks8000

Yeah there were a quite a lot of us that were waiting for the ks8000 to drop and it never happened. In now considering the LGE6V

Still waiting for the 55 inch for this price

Richer sounds offer cashback too via Topcashback or Quidco too. Extra savings and a year extra warranty compared to JL

The 55" was just under 950 at the start off the week and John Lewis were price matching. Still a great price if you can get it.

Not Quantum Dot you haven't.

Not all TVs are born the same.

Yes

Read few reviews on john lewis website - people complaining about serious fault in the motion processing. Some are not happy at all, even software upgrade has not addressed the problem.
#23
Is it 10% for the 6 year warantee or is it free?
#24
Included in the price

Yeah that's correct I am
On my 4th tv and it will be delivered tomorrow I am hoping that this one is better as the previous ones had dead pixels, worse banding and light bleed etc
Otherwise I will have to choose something else
Honestly I didn't get any motion issues so far

In this price range no tv can beat it though
If someone knows any other 10 bit panel with HDR in this price range plz let me know as I am really tired of trying this tv

I tried using Amazon fire stick after installing Kodi on it but it wasn't watchable because of sd channels looked really unacceptable
So standard definition is gonna look unpleasant to put it mildly

So then how would these new 4K tv's work mate? I watch most of SD channels on sky Q, have not subscribed to HD. Any recommendations for me who want to replace 9 year old 40 inch full Hd LCD..

Does 720p stuff via Kodi look ok on this TV?

Got this in store on Friday for 879. They actually dropped the price to 799 on Saturday, so I rang the store and got an £80 refund straight away, so can't fault the initial customer service at Richer Sounds. Absolutely lovely TV, I followed the set up guide for image quality from AV Forums. My main vices are Football and PS4, so I can confirm everything works nicely in terms of low input lag and a very good refresh rate. Battlefield 1 looks amazing on my PS4 Pro in 4K (checkerboard or not!).

Is that the way to watch SD channels on these 4K tv's?
#38
Can anyone confirm if this tv can passthrough 5.1 down the ARC to non-4K receivers from HDMI external sources like PS4 and SkyQ ?

If it falls apart you have 6 years warranty, if there's banding get another one, if there's dead pixels get another one, motion blur get a new one, all faulty. Lee getting one until you get a good one lol. I got a ks8000 if had 4 dead pixels in a row it looked like dirt on the screen constantly, few scattered red pixels, currys swapped it now have another one that's perfect. A lot of reviews are just dud tv's . Just change it until you get a good one. 5th Samsung in a row all class. Won't buy any other make now

Just turn all extras off like motion blur every thing and these tv will give as good sd picture as any other. No tv's give sd a good picture because sd is crap to start with.
