£539 for a 49 inch telly?? Sorry I am NOT a MUG!! Have you heard of Polaroid and Digihome tellies courtesy of ASDA and TESCO respectively? Half the price and better quality IMO!

Seriously, This tv is proper 10bit HDR and you'll find it very difficult to find a 10bit HDR tv for this price.

This tv would most certainly blow away any Polariod or Digihome comparison since I have never seen any that have genuine 10bit panels for starters etc.. rather silly comparison.

Sure those cheap models are probably good value in comparison but they're in different leagues.

Sorry but you are a 'MUG' if you believe Polaroid & Digihome offer the same quaily & design as this set.

Voted cold btw. Buyer return 'refurb' with 1 years warranty.

It would be better if you voted based on the price alone, I appreciate it's only a refurb but the next cheapest I can find is £649.95 on Ebay.

Richersounds are supposedly a good retailer.

Can you find a genuine 10bit tv for less?. Refurb or not?

Wouldn't buy a refurbished return.

I'd rather pay full price and get a 6 year warranty that's probably worth a couple of hundred quid.

Voted on the product and condition, price isn't everything.

If warranty is important to you then that's your choice, I'm not sure it's worth an extra couple of hundred quid though.

if it lasts a month without fault then it should probably last just as long as a new one, Might have just been taken out the box etc...

It is a gamble but that's reflected in the price.

Would you buy a second hand car?.

This is/was top of the range. I gather it is only available at a mid/low range price due to the light bleed issues in a darkened room.

haha, i paid £2500 for my 36" crt years back, £539 is nothing for a large screen.

Seems Samsung has now rebranded their Quantum Dot marketing speak as QLED.

Worth another £1000 on top for the rebrand?

Ermmm, yes I have a second hand car.
Desperate comparison there.

My car wasn't returned due to an issue. It was well looked after and that 10,000 mile use saved me aroung £10K, not a few quid.

FTR, I'd never buy a refurb TV or a brand new car.
Thousands lost as soon as you drive off the forecourt. Let someone else take the hit.

4 months ago I bought a refurbised £300 LTE 10" Android 7 tablet for £43.

I still wish people well with their £300 spend

I'll let you buy a new TV and then buy it off you tomorrow, save myself some money ;).

If it's fixed or just a return it should be just about as new, Richersounds will have either fixed the issue or reboxed it. If it's faulty then it'll be returned.

If it is fault free for a month then it's all good. Nothing to lose, plenty to save. When it's sold on in the future it'll be second hand regardless.
