Still pretty pricey? Anyone know what the advantages are vs the previous series? Didn't get much sleep last night so sorry for being lazy and not just googling it lol

I think it is quantum dot. JL TV prices seem good today.

Slightly better dimming, an extra tuner, different back on the tv and slightly better speakers apparently. Other than that the panels are the same.

They've done a price match (not sure with whom) on the 55" too, £100 off to £1449.

Been looking at this set for ages (rates well for HDR gaming) and would love to go for it but have to finish other spending first and see what's left :(

Decided that if this is the same price on monday then i'll probably buy it. If not then i saved myself 1200 quid.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Was really hoping to find it around £1k today and would've inst-purchased with a chair-swivel fist pump.

Best set for PS4 Pro / HDR gaming with spending silly money

Pricey cos it's the cream of the crop. They only drop the crap loads.

I paid £1449 for 55inch worth every penny

If you buy one, search YouTube for avforums calibration settings of this tv, made my tv picture perfect . Just change the back light up to about 9 and you are sorted

Ended up going for the 7000 for 799 at Currys, common sense kicked in and the saving was greater than the need.

Yes very nice saving on that tv. Huge drop well worth £800. Do the same on that one search youtube for ks7000 avforums
