Only drawback is the tuner seems to be Freesat, and not Freeview HD, but otherwise I'd be very tempted.
Great to see 4k becoming affordable for large sizes !

just noticed JL has listed 55 inch @1299. only prob is why is it so ugly.. when their lower series are much better

This TV actually only displays 4k on static images, as soon as motion is displayed the resolution drops to 1k and under. It also has a lot of the cool features stripped that are present on the slightly higher Samsung models, it would be better to spend an extra couple of hundred and get a far superior quality TV.

No problem, just got the TV yesterday, used O2 priority £50 off £750+ purchase to get it for £949. I know the hdtvtest review said "Yet when there’s medium-fast pans, the on-screen picture degraded into a blurry mess." but it seemed absolutely fine to me but I'm used to a TV that doesn't have any fancy motion deblur as I had an 8 year old early 720p HDTV before. It looks amazing to me.
