heat . fits my £10 per inch threshold. that's a bargain for a 4k tv . although I'm not a true picture perfectionist (don't know what the picture is like)I'd still say this is a great deal .

OP mentions to add to the trolley. I checked and it does show as £439 in the trolley but link shows £539.

Great TV. Best £320 I've spent.
Bit used the 4k function on it probably but getting Bt TV to watch 4k sport soon. Not bad for gaming too if you are into it.

Decent tv but not proper hdr, I think it's the ku6400 that 10bit iirc.

How does this compare with the Sony XD8505? Got a 49inch for £550 was wondering if this is comparable?

Might not be obvious if you're not clued up on TVs. Bit misleading saying it's hdr.

Hot from me. Anyone with this TV - can you comment on your thoughts please?

Damn.... I purchased the 43'' version last week £419, (Groupon, £20 cashback) same specs just screen size bigger. This TV make my previous telly look smaller even though this was an inch bigger (slim edges). I would've gone for the 50'' but never mind.

No headphone socket or Bluetooth connectivity :( Not very good with fast motion images a lot of blur, These also suffer from the judder issue a lot of cheaper 4k tvs do, on the plus side these have a nice bright panel with good colours.

shows as 439 for me even before adding to basket. Not sure why but it makes the deal feel like less of a deal now :p

Amazing price for a lower end TV. HOT!

Just put a 48" in the bedroom and it looks massive on the wall.

I've got the UE49KU6400... love the interface on Samsung and they have all the apps you would want now
#21
I bought one to replace my old Samsung Plasma that was ~10 years old.

Picture quality is fantastic, I find, and the interface is somewhat easy enough to navigate. The only problem I find is that my Fire Stick sometimes doesn't wake up (?) but that is because I have enabled HDMI CEC. Also, the speakers sound significantly weaker than my old TV, but that is because I have wall mounted the TV and the speakers are rear-facing, whereas on my previous it was front facing.

I could be wrong but I thought the only Samsung TVs that do HDR properly were the Quantum Dot TVs - KS7000 and above?

Great price for tv spec, has a hdr converter too for normal tv. Only 8bit panel but no tv has true hdr as even 10bit panel is isn't true hdr.
#25
Get this or spend another £200 to get a low end 10 bit panel one?

Showing for home delivery for me too

hmmm - should I get this, or a 49 inch ks7500 that has a one inch scratch on the screen? I know someone who is selling it for the same price as this...

Or the Philips 55PUS6401 ???

Im looking for a cheaper 4k tv and ive reserved one...Does this TV fit the bill?
I was thinking about the 49KU6670 curved one before for a bit more money(£549).
What could be the best decision?
(i need to connect PS4 to it)

It's prime week at the beginning of next month on Amazon so I'm going to hold off buying a new TV until then. Hopefully pick up a proper HDR TV at a decent price

Maybe I had a bad one, but this tv has the worst banding I've ever seen. Made it impossible to watch anything light (football especially)
I'm no expert on tvs etc and I'd never even heard of banding......but after 5 mins of owning this tv I researched what it was. Sent it back the next day.
Was a shame as it had a stunning image, but the minute things moved it was terrible.

Edit:- Just noticed this is the 50", I had the 55" don't know if that makes a difference?

You need to change the motion settings to 3-4. At default motion is horrendous on these Samsung, surprised they ever made it out of development.

The manual says it has bluetooth as do most smart tvs sometimes you have to turn it on in the service menu.

Ermmm... Yes.
This is entry level 4K. You're not getting cutting edge technology but for the price it represents great value.

I think he was correcting 'Lower End' and not arguing with the fact.

And yes, there will be a better picture on high end HD tv's than this thing, still some people like to own these just so they can say they have a 4k telly.

Anyone know if it's worth spending extra on the LG 49UH770V 49 Inch at £476 @ Argos?

Do not buy a tv with a scratch on the screen, your eyes will be drawn to it and you will end up hating it. No doubt that is why the person is selling it.
