4k HDR with upscaling
Enjoy the next generation of quality with 4k, which is enhanced by HDR (High Dynamic Range) for stunning detail and exceptional colour vibrancy. Combined with Crystal Colour technology every film you watch looks true to life, with accurate colour and enhanced shadow detail.

Even if you're watching older TV programmes or content that wasn't made for 4k, Samsung's unique up-scaling process converts live TV, films and games as close to Ultra High Definition as possible.

UHD Dimming technology divides the TV screen into hundreds of small zones, analysing each one independently so you can experience better shadow detail and accurate colour.

Smart content

Quickly and easily access smart content from the Smart Hub home screen, offering access to catch-up TV and 4k streaming from Netflix and Amazon Prime. Explore other content without interrupting what you're currently watching.

There's also the option to access a range of video games without the need for a console. Access a huge range of games with Cloud Gaming, and enjoy ultra-high definition games directly through your TV.

Compatible with the Samsung SmartThings Hub, you can add your TV to your connected smart home to open up a whole new world of automation. Set your TV to turn on as you enter the room, adjust lights and control your speakers all from your phone.

Quality processing

Able to deliver the best in 4k picture quality, the UE50KU6020 TV has a fast and powerful quad-core processor, which allows you to multi-task seamlessly.

Auto Motion Plus works to provide impressive detail on every image by enhancing motion clarity with a fast frame refresh rate. With key motion technologies, backlight technology and frame refresh rate you can enjoy impressive clarity on action scenes and sport.

With three HDMI connections and two USB 2.0 ports, you can easily connect a range of other media devices to the TV.

I like how the Dynamic contrast ratio is listed as "Mega" in the specifications... What does that even mean!

Beter than "Good" but not as good as "totally awesome man" ! :D

to be fair to them though they aren't moaning about it like normally happens, anyone buying at an 8 bit price point wont pay the £500+ extra for a 10 bit that's for sure.

Well, it is a pretty important bit of info for HDR TV that many companies leave out.

Great price, incredibly tempted. What's the difference between this and KU6000?

How much better is this compared with the Philips 49PUS6401 49 Inch 4K Ultra HD Ambilight Smart TV deal posted yesterday at £404?
#20
Is there a big enough difference between an 8-bit and 10-bit panel to justify the price difference?
#21
Like an awful lot of people I need more than 3 HDMI ports but that's a bonkers price.
#22
I have the Samsung UE49KU6400 49" which is very similar to this spec and it's a cracking TV, but I paid a heck of a lot more for it a month ago, than this deal. Stunning picture clarity and brightness (mine's hooked up to Sky HD). I'd be all over this like a cheap suit if I hadn't already made my purchase. I find that you do have to crank up the sound a bit before you get to a reasonable level, but that's something you just adjust to.

For those with flubit. They just offered this at £434. Also demands get 11% Cashback at the moment via quidco.

Best to check manufacturer's site as they are much less likely to make a mistake than a retailer or a random poster on an internet forum.

The only difference I can see is the older one has a standard remote control as opposed to a smart remote control and can't use Youtube 4k
The 6020 has bluetooth which the 6000 doesn't
6020 has additional freesat tuner and input
See here the comparison.

I'm also wondering how this compares to the Philips from Argos. Is this one okay for gaming?

How did you get flubit to price beat this? Seems much more expensive on Amazon?
