They only cashback pre VAT price, 10% Quidco atm, so 1649.99-((1649.99/1.2)x0.1)=1512.49 I think.. Nothing saids this has been excluded from cashback.

It is an LCD TV, it just has LED backlight.

Samsung have already been warned about this misleading description (see here) yet Best Buy continue to use this dodge to confuse customers.

There are no consumer LED TV's

Haven't voted either way , but the 55" toshiba has been around this price since launch months ago.

And like a lot of people have said , there's a good chance prices of these older models will tumble as the newer ones launch very soon.

I also think somebody on avforums summed it up nicely when they say Samsung make "blinking" good tellies :)

Have one,nice telly. Best on the market 55` telly. Price high of course,but you have to pay for good things...
