  Shouldnt be cold really, can't get it cheaper from any reputable source. I work for JL and have sold a few of these myself, to be honest, though.. the voice and motion control, for me, is far from perfected. Treat it purely as a gimmick, the only noteworthy addition to the ES series is the built in camera. Otherwise go for LG's 55 inch offering which may be more expensive, but at least it's fully backlit. :) Oh and has WiDi (Wireless display).

  Funny I see this tv here today, I walked by the Samsung store yesterday and this tv was in the shop window. I was AMAZED at the quality of the picture, I stood there for a good few minutes just staring at the screen.

What exactly does this tv do really well compared to a £700 cheaper model that makes it worth the launch price? Or how does its price at John lewis make it a "deal".   Its not spam because i dont own John Lewis , A deal is the eye of the beholder, i can understand and fully expected this to be voted cold for a few reasons. Mainly because its 2500 quid , its not a plasma and the only advantage in this deal is the 5 year guarantee. To be honest i put this on because its a fantastic tele , i ve seen this and the d8000 and they are to die for , not only for the style but amazing picture quality.My sister has one and everyone thats steps foot in the room is blown away. You may not agree but Sony have lagged so far behind the curve they have not got a tv in their range that can stand up to this. Love or hate Samsung you cannot deny that they push the boundaries of what to expect from a tv. Over priced ? of course .......but you can t say that s its rubbish, go and look at one and i ll guarantee you ll be impressed.
