Cheapest I have seen this TV from a reputable dealer so far is £1999 (i.e. Currys).

So this is £100 cheaper and if you take the 3% Cashback you can get through Quidco with PRC Direct that takes it down to £1842 which is a pretty decent deal at the moment for this beatuy.

Point is, it's £160 cheaper than anywhere else. Whether the price is worth it to you is an entirely different topic

Decent price.

Curve is a gimmick, if your off centre picture distorts, save yourself some money and go for the non curve version.

Eh? It comes with 5 years warranty included!

Key Features

55" Curved Smart 3D UHD 4K LED TV with Freeview HD, Quad Core+ Processor, 1200Hz CMR, Built-in Camera and Wi-Fi, 3x USB and 4x HDMI

Free 5 Year Warranty + Free Ultra HD Video Pack + Free WAM250 via claim + 2x 3D Glasses included + Claim 6 Months FREE Deezer Music &12 Months Mubi Movies worth £96

Richersounds also do not have it available for online order, it's £100 dearer and there is no Cashback, so I really don't see how you can say that theirs is the better deal?

so you would rather order on line and have to wait for it, instead of collect it from a store, get a grip ......... and the FREE M5 White & WAM250 worth OVER another £300, online shopping is done mostly because its cheaper than the shops .......... but not in this case ;)

Actually yea I would as it wouldn't fit in my car, plus there is no parking close to the nearest Richersounds for me.

Also, the M5 + WAM250 go for <= £185 on ebay brand new. I'd rather get the £100 saved off the bat and Cashback rather than going through the hassle of shifting this on Ebay (don't want/need it) and pay a 10% fee for selling it.

did you really say all of that ^^^^^ 10%, Ebay, £100 saved, and I don't want that, how old are you .... COLD

Very mature of you. Just to recap:

First you say this deal has no 5 year warranty included, when told it is included you just ignore that.

Then you imply that being able to pick up the TV outweighs not being able to order online and that having to pay £100 more to get a piece of kit one might not want/need.

I argue that my preference is to not spend the extra £100 and get cash back and your only response is "how old are you?"

You have very clearly demonstrated that you are not able to continue a meaningful debate on this topic yet you insinuate that I an immature? Oh dear :)

I got this from richer sounds for £1800 three weeks ago with free 5 year warranty (standard), free TV stand I needed (£250 online) and the M5 speaker and Wam 250.
Morale of the story, sometimes it helps to get out and talk to someone face to face rather than just think deals are limited to the internet.

A bit late in the day for this but never mind.

What I will say though is, regardless of whether people's opinions of this deal being hot or cold, you sir are an absolute ****.

You certainly sound like the child here, certainly not the OP.
