Posted this yesterday but got expired as the code was not working. However there is now a new code which is and knocks £60 off the total making it the lowest price this set can be bought for. This is the lowest price seen using code ALL60 to get £60 off the listed price of £998.99.

Cashback available via Quidco /Topcashback with a further £20. Was 8.4% at topcashback so may be increased again?

Hope it may help someone

A good friend of mine who sells electrical goods informed me that this tv will drop to £899 and the 49" to £799 on bf nationwide... maybe hold out.

The wife wants the curved version - although maybe we will wait until the new year - not sure if it is likely to be cheaper then?

Only asked about the 55" ks7000. it seems to have the best features of any tv for that money.

Agree unless you get this price matched it simply isn't worth the saving

well now, considering its dropped £175 in the last few months, another £100 is hardly unbelievable!! Such a pessimistic outlook :{

Have read reports from owners of 'juddering' issues with this samsung model, some of the reviews were on the lohn lewis site.

I've read the same and now I'm not sure what to do regarding buying or not.
Curry's have the 5 year warranty but fixing it to the wall then returning if would be awkward.

Got this yesterday for £885 by getting Richer Sounds to pricematch Fenwick/Bentalls..

It's £895 in Canterbury Fenwick and Bracknell Bentalls today so if you're within 50 miles of there you can get Richer Sounds to price match and beat it by £10.

This is from people who don't bother to put the TV in a proper mode or set it up correctly, the TV is great for motion, in fact it's one of the best for the money..... set 'Auto Motion Plus' to 'Custom' and both sliders to 0. Also it's probably best not to have it in Movie mode as it's always the highest latency mode since it doesn't matter for movies, put it into a Game or Sport mode or possibly even leave it in Standard.

Yup

This is a review for the smaller one, but the 55 inch performs exactly the same and it's the best TV you're getting for the money.

I want the best FULL HD television with the DEEPEST black levels possible for under £1000. Is that too much to ask ?

You won't get it for 1080p unless you can find that LG OLED 1080p TV for under £1000. However I dunno why you wouldn't go 4K when you're spending this much...

weird just had a email from richer sounds , they have a 7000 and 8000 models and the 8000 is a lot more expensive so how could it be the us equivalent as mentioned above

I linked the 49 inch 7000, they also reviewed the curved 7500b55 inch... they're all pretty much the same.

The 8000 is practically the same tv but on a new stand and with worse colour calibration out the box.

Only for you, it's all standard brackets and you simply put it back on the original stand to return it. That beind said returning anything to Curry's is both akward and infuriating and it probably would be a pain as they always make you wait the maximum period before doing anything about the problem just to make the fact they sold you a broken product even more annoying.
