Info On TV

Enjoy stunning 4k visuals and smart TV capabilities with the Samsung UE55KS7000 Smart 4k Ultra HD HDR 55" LED TV.

Quantum Dot Colour

The SUHD TV features a Quantum Dot Display which expresses a wide range of over 1 billion colours to create true-to-life images. When compared to conventional Ultra High Definition TVs which are capable of producing 17 million colours, it is clear to see that the UE55KS7000 offers amazing picture quality.

HDR 1000

With HDR 1000, the 55KS7000 provides a superior High Dynamic Range for impressive brightness, incredibly detailed shadows and vivid colours. All of these features combine to allow you to experience the next generation of premium mastered quality.

SUHD Remastering Engine

By analysing the content coming into the TV and the source it came from, the KS7000 is capable of upscaling pictures as close to HDR picture quality as possible, allowing to enjoy all manner of entertainment in amazing detail.

Smart Hub

You can quickly and easily access smart content from the Smart Hub home screen, offering you access to catch-up TV services and 4k streaming from Netflix and Amazon Prime. To enhance your viewing pleasure, you can explore the smart content without interrupting what you are currently watching.

There is also the option to access a range of video games without the need for a console. Instead, you can explore Cloud Gaming, playing ultra-high definition games directly through your TV.

Have been keeping an eye on this and am wondering if it will drop further in price during black Friday. With this price drop, perhaps not?

I am hoping this set is going to be this year's £799.99 TV for black Friday after buying the ju6800 at that price last year.

I would have also placed money on it being dropped in price for Black Friday, and was willing to wait. But with this £100 price slash, I'm not so sure anymore that it will be one of the models to drop for Black Friday.

RS matched it.

Cancelled my JL order (because of ridiculous delivery times) and bought at RS yesterday.

Was gutted to see this but they are refunding the difference. Awesome customer service from RS.

And.....TV is totally stunning. So so happy

thx OP

This set any good: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertainment/televisions/televisions/panasonic-viera-tx-50dx700b-smart-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-50-led-tv-10143738-pdt.html ?

Looking for a new TV but don't fancy spending any more than £700 for a 50"~ and review sites are pretty useless unless you're spending £1500+.

last year curry's took £200 off some samsung tvs on black friday... given its currently £1549 could mean £1349... but given the price difference between the ks7000 and 8000 you never know

Richer sounds wouldn't match an amazon price on a sony unit as it didnt offer a comparable guarantee I assume they will match a supplier with a 5yr? after all who else offers 6?

tempted by this but is so close to black friday! I guess I could JL price match??

I purchased this TV when it launched and love it. Great balance of features and price. Only 1 slight drawback i've found is that viewing in low light can sometimes show the backlight bands when they're trying to light a bright object in the middle of the screen on a dark background i.e. the playstation 4 logo on the startup screen - doesn't bother me though. Great deal.
