They don't..Pioneer no longer make TV's...but anyone who has owned one knows the blacks were the reference before OLED's came into play.

I think Martin Dawes would equal it...My mums came with a 6 year warranty on her Panasonic.

My family got our Pioneer Kuro back in the day from them and then my mums Panasonic..Very honest people and they let you demo the units with your own media so you decide what looks better and not a demo...unlike some stores i know *cough*currys*cough*

Sony Bravia KD49XD8077 This to will be on sale at 12am tonight for prime users over at Amazon.

It's another great performer with a 10bit panel and great HDR performance.

It definitely is a 8 with FRC doesn't mean it's not a decent set it gets good reviews but the KS future proofs you to a much greater extent.

With a 5/6 year guarantee this would be amazing. Not familiar with the company though?

Nope!, only thing I'd trade it for is an OLED tv which i'm waiting for the standards to settle.

Saying that..I can get upwards of £600 used for my Kuro..Crazy!

Trusted reviews just awarded this TV of the year.

I love this TV, I've been watching closely for months and will be on a lookout on Black Friday. I don't know Martindawes... I prefer Curry, John Lewis, or Argos because I know if something goes wrong I can just walk down the road and speak to them about it!

I agree with you there SpencerUk. OLED will be the only upgrade for me too from my Kuro. Just hoping the prices of the LG ones start dropping.

Very good reviews on this TV. Best price I've seen so far.
In the market for a TV atm.
Going to wait until next week and see if it drops lower because of Black Friday.

"Netflix and Amazon Instant are a given, of course, but the review sample I tested also included all UK TV catch-up apps (BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, 4OD and Demand Five, though neither of the roll-back platforms, YouView or Freeview Play), as well as YouTube, Deezer, TuneIn, Vimeo, Facebook, Red Bull TV and Mubi."

I recently bought the 49" KS8000 model and All 4/4oD doesn't appear to be available.

I bought this tv from John Lewis last week at 999. The tv is great but I've noticed on totally black screens or black screens with credits- there seems to be a lot of light bleed in the corners and around any bright areas (e.g. The PS logo when a PS4 boots) - is this normal or is it down to settings?
