For sure, I've got an 55ES8000 at the moment and it is stunning. So an 8000 is my minimum. I was in Curry's yesterday and the difference between the 8000 and 6000 right next to each other (same size, input and settings) was really quite noticeable.

Been reading up on it.

Main differences are:

8000 has two tuners.
8000 has better speakers.
8000 has Supreme UHD Dimming
8000 has Supreme Motion.

General consesus is that 8000 is quite a bit better for gaming and sports. But if that doesn't concern you, and the speakers aren't a problem, then 7000 is a good buy.

my bad, I thought the twin tuners was freeview + freesat. But it's actually twin freeview + freesat I guess. Also didn't know about the motion/dimming, Samsung rep didn't mention that said they were the same :P

Had the UE558200, went for a repair with Curry's (just over heating, with dust) they fixed it... Delivery drivers dropped it and broke it and couldn't be repaired so they sent me a code to get s new one.

I took my ps4 pro to currys to hook up to the ks7000. I wasn't sure they would let me but they were really cool about it. The tv blew me away. The backlight is fantastic, blacks were incredible and I saw no motion issues. No haloing. I loved it. Gotta wait till Wednesday for delivery.

Has anyone actually purchased the 60 inch version of this ?

I have just got the 55 inch and think I might go for the 60 inch instead but want to know if the wall mount holes are the same distance apart.
