Samsung Wave. A really good phone and costs three hundred on Play.com. You should also get another 35 from Quidco which would bring price of phone down to 225 over the lifetime of the 18 month contact on O2.

This is a rebate deal but thought still worth posting as it is cheaper then buying the phone and you get the hundred minutes and unlimited texts.

Wow, the operating system is Bada? Where is my headache? Here you go.

I just got to explore this phone the other day. I've got a history of using smart phones including Symbians, UIQ, WinMo, Android, Iphone OS, ect. and I found Samsung standalone OS quite promising. The UI is really pleasant to use and very smooth, however it's not as polished as the Android for example, not yet. Everything now depends on the third party developers; They will decide whether the Bada platform should live or die.
The phone itself is a well built piece of gadget, featuring multi-touch and 720p videos and super amoled display, which is superior to the so-called "Retina display" in many ways.

Could someone explain how does it work? I'm not familiar with these "half price line rental" and "effective monthly cost". So how much is it for the first 10 months and for the second 8?

You pay £20 a month and then have to send off your bills on specific dates and they'll refund you £20 each time. These deals tend to be fairly strict on when you send them in so you have to be fairly organized to make sure you get your cashback.

Good deal.I took one out at Tesco for a £20 per month.I'm sure everyone's aware of the Bada/Android thing but......this phone has no Apps whatsoever.I thought even with the Bada frontend u could still get to the Android store? No. You can only get to Samsung Apps store which has a total of about 150 apps! Still a good phone but for those wanting any Apps this is next to useless.

Took up this offer and went for the redemption deal.....went to cancel item and they offered me the whole £100 redemption to be put into my account within in the next 28 days. Hot deal from me phone would of cost me £220 over the next 18 months :)
