ive got the samsung wb500 and i know the wb600 is the newer model to it and if it is anything like the wb500 then for this price it is fantastic well worth considering if you want to get a new camera
#6
Good camera, good price, heat added.
#7
this is a bargain with 15x zoom
#8
Fantastic price for a great bit of kit plus you also get a tenner giftcard

Cant go wrong:D

Ordered one for the eldest for Christmas, was considering the Panasonic range with the cashback offer but with quidco and a £10 argos voucher for your next purchase thrown in this is a cracking deal.
#10
Went for this after the TZ10 just felt all wrong in my hands, cracking buy at £129!
#11
Does anyone know if the night shots good on this?
#12
would also be interested how this would do at action shots, as well as if it has a burst-mode (and if yes how many pics it will take per second and in what quality). If any of the proud owners could comment on those aspects, that would be fantastic!
#13
Anyone comment on the HD video quality?
Im on my ipad at the moment so cant get 720p youtube.
#14
Seriously tempted by this...... I've reserved one anyway.
Would be interested in hearing any negative opinions as well as positive ones.
#15
Just reserved one and you get a £10 voucher as well!
#16
Just checked out a review on Cnet...they basically say the video quality is so-so but other than that its very good value for money. I then went to the TZ10 review on the same site and that looked like it wins hands-down...tho gonna cost us more :(
#17
I just reserved one thanks
#18
No GPS?! Not buying one then.
(Sorry, just kidding - can't really see the point!)
#19
Just read loads of reviews for this and it sounds great. Just reserved one.

I actually own the Lumix TZ10 and it's a great camera.
This samsung model is decent though, if it was still £229 then the TZ10 is your better bet.
At just £129 however taking everything into consideration - massive zoom, stereo sound, HD movie, manual modes etc it really is a steal.

I'd have this if I didn't have a decent one already
Heat given.

I think if the Canon sx210is got down to this price, i'd buy it even though ive got a perfectly good Sony W290 !

I recon i'll go for this as i've been looking for a camera for a few weeks now.
Any idea on how long this offer will last (@£130)?

Gift card offer:
FREE Voucher Offer (offer valid between 24th November and 30th November)
If your order is over £100.00, you have qualified to receive a FREE £10 voucher

Seems as though its £150 elsewhere ! But with the £10 voucher, on a 8GB memory card for now £4.99 it would be a good price.

Bit Confused?.... http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consumer/photography/cameras/digital-camera/EC-WB600ZDPAHK/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail
Samsung say the model number is actually 14.1MP not 12 ?!

Total Pixel Approx. 14.2 Mega-pixel

I am not good with camera spec and such
Price looks right and I like Samsung product, reviews here and online seem good.

Just needs a SDHC card, card adapter and a case I suppose?

The reviews are pretty good so not Champions League but at least the Premiership; but without the debt burden. :(
#38
Well I just picked one up
Charging it now

one of the reviews says its quite chunky- is this true? And to the user who has this and the Panasonic TZ10 - which one is slimmer? I just got me TZ10 today but this is just much cheaper....

Thx

This WB600 camera is 28mm which i believe is slimmer than the TZ.
