Finally decided to get myself a dedicated mp3 and mp4 player with a lot of storage space and this seems to be one of the best around at this kind of price, the real bonus that swayed me was the divx/xvid support which only seems to be touted on the samsung website for the product but if I was them I would be shouting that feature from the rooftops. It also handles FLAC and OGG files which should sound nice through the Goldring DR150's I have just ordered.

Samsung have some really good value MP3/4s. Enjoy

Looks the business - I have so many ogg files and also a few gig of flacs which most other players cannot handle.

Does this device use a resistive or capacitive touch screen?

capactive, I would like to get a stylus for it there seems to be one released for the ipod touch but I doubt the clip would fit on the yp-p3 so I would be in jeopardy of losing it.

Amazing price for a great mp3 player with huge capacity for it's size.

Oh yeah I also forgot to mention but with updated firmware this player will handle divx/xvid videos with resolutions up to 800X600, so pretty much any divx/xvid file in standard definition will play on this player without the need for transcoding.

Also a slightly off topic question but does quidco still track for pre-orders?
