the porter
I think you are clicking the home delivery link you can only reserve it for store pick up

no it was for store collection. it was out of stock in store, but offered me the option to order it for delivery to store (which i've never seen before) & when i tried to do it, thats when i got the message.

however i have found it in stock at another store & have placed my reservation.

I am fairly tired of seeing Argos offers as so often they are not available when i check my local and not so local stores.

It got a bit irritating and I checked how far I would need to go for the last three offers I liked - but found none within roughly a 200 mile distance.

"Asda specials" often equals "one under the counter in Truro"

Yes, but in fairness this offer was listed over on the MSE forum a month ago and leading up to that was on sale for £49.99.

A lot of sale items are clearance, so finite stocks.

Amazon has this listed for £69, so getting it for £47 is a great bargain if you want a cheap camera to learn about digital photography

so keep that in mind

Bought one on the weekend for the Mother in laws 65th - you need an SD Card for about a fiver and good set of rechargable batteries aswel but nothing but good reviews of this camera on the net considering the price and battery issues on normal alkalines

Reserved one thanks :)

Does this camera give you a preview when connected to the computer?

My girlfriend wants a webcam but shes also intrested in a digital cam, just wants the facility to give you a preview before you take the picture.

Probably both, but better to use NiMH as they are superior, & especially suitable for this 'high-drain' camera.

Got mine today...FABULOUS little camera...cashed in some of my Nectar points to get it.... And there is a 'button' option for use with either alkaline or Ni Mh batteries.

Tried to register it online at the addy they gave in the box...but it was wrong, it's here http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/registeryourproduct/RegisterYourProductMain.do for anyone who wants to do it online.

my son has this camera is that right a battery lasts an hour in it of continous use or is it faulty do nimh last longer if so whats the best price and what do i need cheers

Just got back from Paris....I used this camera continuously whilst there and took over 150 pictures on TOP resolution using just 2 re-chargeable Uniross 1300mAh - 1.2v batteries..I've had these for over 6 years and they are unbeatable IMHO.

Hope this helps 'the porter'.
