Really? Isn't it in the catalogue? Not like it's a limited time special offer.

Actually, Argos do the white one. It's £99.99 + £10 Airtime (Mandatory) = £109.98 it also comes with £10 free topup on activation.

I just phoned Orange off a mates orange phone which was in my name anyway - said a friend got this phone for £79 last week, and got it for £79 including £10 top up :).
The proper price is 95 + 20 top up from Orange site.
Some fella said he bought an Orange sim on here off ebay for few quid then ordered at 79 quid, might be worth a shot.

Thanks, off to read reviews again before making my final decision.

Trying to decide whether to get a San Fran or wait for the ZTE Skate which is due out soon.

I've looked at a few videos of the Skate on Youtube mate and on every video I've seen the device lags even when simply scrolling through the screens. I think the 800mhz processor just isn't up to 2.3.

But people are putting 2.3 on their San Frans...I dont actually think 2.3 uses any more processing power than 2.2, which is faster than 2.0/2.1.

Perhaps not. Have a look on Youtube for it mate. EVERY video I have seen of the device you can see the screen lags when users are swiping through screens. Surely in a brand new product you'd have thought they would get the basics right. I know on paper it looks slightly better spec than the Blade (processor anyway), but it doesn't seem to run anywhere near as smoothly. Perhaps once Paul at Modaco gets a hold of it he'll have it running like a swiss clock but with that stock rom I'd go for the Blade which is already running great.

I'm on Swedish Spring rom by the way. It's very smooth and the screens swipe very fast.

Yeah, this worked for me too, just phoned Orange direct and told them I was thinking of changing my phone and could they do me a better price than Orange Shop, didn't even have to haggle for the £79 price.

Already debranded and switched to GiffGaff, good deal all round.

Can I ask btw, how do you know if you've got £10 credit included with the direct deal? I didn't get anything extra in the box apart from the sim - do you have to activate this or could you get them to just add it to your existing number (I'm still keeping my old Orange account/phone number as a backup). Cheers.

Hmm, so if I phone Orange I could get it for £79? My work phone is on Orange but my personal one isnt. Should I mention I have an Orange phone and want a San Fran? Will they give me one for £79?

As I understand it you need to be an existing PAYG customer but worth a try, 0800 mumber so not really costing anything other than your time.
