Was looking for sandbag for conditioning work on my off days with my regular powerlifting training regime . Came across the cheapest one. It looks sturdy contains smaller compartment bags filled with sand meaning you can reduce the weight on demand.

I'm sure you're joking (and I do get it) but just so everyone is clear, if you need help getting it to the car then it's not the right product for you! ;-)

No. It's for powerlifting training.

Most normal peeps stick to dumbells and barbells.

it has been there for long time. military and fire fighters across the world use it often to stfengthen their core for dynamic loading. Barbell, dumbells and kettlebells are balanced weights so it is very hard to do dynamic movements with them. i hope it helps.

I just stuck a load of sand in a truck inner tyre.

It's a great bulgarian bag.

It is for improving your core strength. If you just sit on couch with it, this won't make any change in that respect.

Never mentioned anything about being couch potato but did mention lack of credibility on the comment of 20 KG of a sandbag considered to be like nothing.

what's having a 20kg bag of sand ( from the play pit is it?), got to do with how ' hard ' or a pussy u r? Why not £4 for a 25kg bag of spuds, at least u can set them when u loose interest in whatever ubdo with the sand bag;

FYI Thor, my dumbbells are 32kg each, I do 28 curls each arm 4 sets for fun

my Olympic bar has 160kg on, I rarely do more than 2 × 48 presses, as I too get bored; my fixed weight machine has 10kg- 125kg end user resistance

I run 10 miles in 56 minutes

I row level 10 ( machine for up to 90 minutes & circa 25km,and my 2000m time is sub 7 minutes; of course being 2m tall & 125kg puts a strain on my feeble fibres!
