MyMemory are selling the SanDisk 16GB USB flash drive for a few quid less than any other retailer I could find. Not only that, but this branded flash drive was the only acceptable brand I could for for less than £20. It's £16.99 so a deal!

Apparently this USB key is used in Terminator Salvation :)

OP, you could add "As seen in Terminator Salvation"

I watched it tonight and caught a glimpse of it (couldn't tell what size) Good bit of product placement by Sandisk :-D

Really this was in Terminator Salvation? Excellent. I know Arnie makes an appearance, but I wasn't sure about this disk - I'll add it (and also thanks to PeteYork for reminding me to mention QuidCo).

Listing will be updated shortly.

If it was, I must have missed it. Don't vote cold though unless you can find it cheaper.

Thanks! I would rather pay the extra few quid and get the 16GB version.

The write speed of the one I had from Play was dog slow.
#11
I have the 8Gb one. Very pleased with it. Would happily buy this one if I needed another.
#12
Just bought this from Play for £17.99 but free P & P :)

This is also delivered for free, so not sure why it states + P&P in the title!
#14
Think the + stands for AND, just depends how u read it!

I bought one from amazon jersey when i think they were £15, been very happy with it, except that I lost it about a week back, i'm sure it's in the house somewhere.
#16

Sorry I dont know how those two drive compare, but check out http://www.testfreaks.com/blog/information/16gb-usb-drive-comparison-17-drives-compared/ for some benchmarks on 16gb drives. The one posted in this deal doesn't seem to be that quick compared to what else is available.

These U3 jobbies are fab. I've been using them for a good while now. I had one go through the wash too and end up in that bit of water in the seal for the door. It was there over a week and still worked after being dried. I would definitely spend a bit more and get one of the Titanium ones next.

I paid £15.99 for this from Amazon including free delivery.
£1 per GB aint bad - but the write speed is absolutely appauling.

I get a MAXIMUM of 5MBytes/sec
usually between 3-4 MBytes/sec

Read speed is fantastic and i have maxed out usb 2.0 data transfer limit with this reading.

However, the write speed is just so bad - its almost unbareable to use for anything other than text files.

I had an 8GB one of these which was great, however, the only problem I found, which turned out to be a big problem is the small keyring connector, which isn't that great and resulted in mine falling off my keyring a few time, before finally falling off when I didn't notice - D'oh.

I should have replaced it with something more substantial when it first hapenned, but just be careful if you get one!
#24
Apparantly this is the only USB stick that will survive Judgment Day. Hot from me!
