What drop-down box?

So is there one available on Amazon for £10.79 or not? I can't be sure what has been discussed above.
#14
I've had a look... still can't see a 16GB card, only 8GB for that price.

I think he means type sd into the search box and then select sdhc from the suggestion list (which is the third choice).

I found Class 2 cards to be painfully slow.... highly recommend getting at least a Class 4, especially if you're using it in a high MP camera or camcorder!

No, they're SD. i.e. the size for most cameras, computers and home media devices but not phones.

are people gonna be installing operating systems on these "netbook memory cards"? or are you gonna be using it as storage?
#20
Why is 'netbook' in the title?

Why is 'netbook' in the title?

These are 'Netbook cards'. I searched to check if there is any difference and Sandisk have openly stated that these are exactly the same as their normal class 2 cards apart from packaging/label. They were re-badged to help Netbook users realise their full potential or something, and were expected to be sold at the same price as the other class 2s.
#22
It's the same, as those Wii SD cards, just marketing BS.
#23
Pretty useful for netbooks if you only have an 8gb ssd like me - but then any memory card will do the same job.
#24
Since this is now expired there is another deal for a smaller card - 8GB for £7.99 here with two products to pick from - DSi or Netbook branded.

Kinda wish I waited for the DSi one since my 8GB is going in mine. :(

Think you can be fairly confident there's no difference apart from the colour and whether Nintendo take a cut of the profits.
