I got my 200GB from Amazon for £59.99 about 9 months ago... Looks like "Switch Inflation" to me.

Many memory cards costs 30 - 50% more now, so few quid more for this Sandisk is not bad...

After data loss on 2 128gb sandisk cards in different devices, bought from Amazon directly, never again will I buy Sandisk. 1 was in an S5 and the other in an S7 if it matters....

Just a word of warning. Do not for a second think about buying these off eBay, especially if they're half the price of the ones sold on Amazon or MyMemory. 100% of the time these are counterfeits and won't work consistently (ie. they'll seem hunky dory at first but the more they fill up, the more non-functional they become).

Over priced. Even the 128gb not worth more than £25

Samsung phones (circa Note 3) used to only like Samsung branded cards and eventually corrupt (not kill) other brands.
I don't know if that has changed in recent years/handsets.

Its stupid and inexcusable but has happened in the past so wouldn't be surprised if that's still the case.

few reviews on there saying they recieved fakes.
Seller is "sandisk" are they the real thing or are they as reliable as your next marketplace seller?

BTW The 'SD Insight' Android app will verify whether the SD card is authentic or not. Very useful.
Download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.humanlogic.sdi&hl=en

I always use this for any memory card purchases.

it writes to every part of the card and then reads from every part of the card to ensure that of it says 128GB then it is 128GB etc.
takes a long time to read/write though.

Yes I was about to say this and I agree, I heard the same things. Would only use Samsung Evo+ in my S7 not the Sandisks. My Xperia was ok with the Sandisks. Must be a voltage tolerance thing or similar, can't see how else it could brick a card like that.

Not to mention uses up precious write cycles...

Raspberry Pi can also corrupt/kill microsd cards, I recently had a Samsung Evo die out and now I'm reluctant to spend big on any card...

Samsung EVO Plus 128GB on samsung.com looks to be a better deal, £37.00 inc next working day delivery and coming from Samsung should guarantee it to not be a fake

Those reviews don't look promising. I was going to buy one for my s7 edge until I read those reviews saying it doesn't work on it oO
