GOOD Stocking Filler!

The SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro USB are only £3.71 instore at tesco and around £7.99 online such as play and amazon.

They were on a clip strip in my store so look out for them, in a red packet like the one shown on the image.

Description
The SanDisk Cruzer Micro's compact size puts 2GB of flash memory in your pocket. Connect it to any computer with a USB port, and it makes storing, sharing and transferring your files a snap

Not bad if you can find any.
My local Tesco rarely seems to have any stock of anything that looks like a good deal.

- or only £1.29 for an extra 2gb, depends on your point of view. I would imagine a lot of people don't know or buy exactly how much they will need.

Same principle applies to HDD and memory cards.

What will hold a lot will hold a little.

doesn't depend on your point of view - this thread is about a 2gb stick not a '2gb or maybe you need more come in all and spam this thread with irrelevancies'

16gb 17.49
both better value mem/quid ratios than morrisons maybe you'll need more than 4gb ...when will it stop?

Worth noting that earlier in the year, Tesco also had the Cruzer 4GB sticks for around £5-£6. These were kept in the same display storage bin things as the 2GB ones, and a bit of rooting around could result in a 4GB stick being found.

Nevertheless, good deal on the 2GB stick.

Morrisons4GB is £5 in store. Cold from me too.

Thanks OP. Voted HOT!

For someone who needs 2gb or less, why pay more for extra gb that you wont use.

I went to Morrisons today specially to get the 4gb ones ... and there was no stock & every assistant I asked just looked at me blankly - might try Tescos instead ... thanks for posting

I know about the 4GB in morrisons but i mean not everyone has a morrisons store near them, maybe if they had a tesco then this would be a good deal for them. Morrisons may not have any in stock so i mean you could have grabbed a 2GB for this price, which in my opinion is a pretty decent deal.

Anyone picked one up yet?
#14
as others have said 4GB for a fiver is a much more useful size USB stick for very little more (and a better GB:£ ratio)

Even 8GB USB drives are under a tenner now, so 2GB is pretty much obsolete for me
#15
Also worth noteing , in Tesco the clipstrips have different EAN and hence are often a different price than normal shelf products , even though they may be identical.

Another alternative is the 8Gb of this flash drive from MyMemory for £9.99 delivered (+Quidco). This item just came back into stock today (I ordered two).

Stangely, they're asking £10.99 for the 4Gb version

Hi all,

Just to let people know that the 2Gb Tesco Own version was in stock this afternoon at the large Warrington store (£2.49). They also had the Sandisk 2Gb at £3.48. There was no sign of any 4Gb.

They are not on the shelf with the rest of the Memory Sticks. They are on clip strips around the electrical isle at the back of the shop so you have to hunt for them. Hopefully the staff should know where they are if you ask.

There were no prices mentioned on any of the clip strips which might be why they still had some in stock.

My kids and wife use (and lose) them all the time and 2Gb is loads of space for school work etc. At £2.49 it not the end of the world if you lose one!

Good luck if you try and get any.

Cheers,
Tony
