For only £17.19 you should better get the much faster Sandisk Ultra II version here:
https://www.w2w.com/MoreInfo.asp?tabGroup=GROUP-PC&code=SANTF2GBU&tabselect=TAB4
(currently on back order).

This is the cheapest online price you can find in the UK; the same item costs £21.90+delivery @ picstop.co.uk:
http://www.picstop.co.uk/Micro-SD---TransFlash/SanDisk-Ultra-II-Micro-SD-%28TransFlash%29---2GB
and between £30 to £50 elsewhere!

Good timing it would go well with my brand new Sandisk E280 - except that it stopped working as soon as I charged it up... :( Doh!

[SIZE=2]Great price - will this work with a Sony Ericsson w880i? Or a) is it the wrong make and/or b) does it only accept up to 1gb?[/SIZE]
#10
No you need Sony Memory Stick m2 type cards for Sony Ericssons. Not sure what size it takes up too. There is a 2GB one here for 25 quid

How about getting two from here using google checkout?

It works out at £9.46 each plus delivery, which shouldn't be that much.

This 2Gb card OK for the Nokia 6300 that was recently posted?
#14
All these sites are part of the same company, so it doesn't really matter on which one you shop. Do a price comparison before you order.

Im looking to buy one of these for my Nokia N95 - ive noticed that although cheaper, the ultra isnt "ultra II" written on the card.

I just wanted to know if anyone knew if there was any difference between the Ultra and the Ultra II?

i.e, http://www.pricestorm.com/moreInfo.asp?code=SANTF2GBU&tabGroup=GROUP-PC&tabSelect=TAB5&tabGrpCode=COMP1 ,says Sandisk 2GB MicroSD Ultra£16.69, whereas

http://www.picstop.co.uk/Micro-SD---TransFlash/SanDisk-Ultra-II-Micro-SD-%28TransFlash%29---2GB ,says SanDisk Ultra II Micro SD (TransFlash) - 2GB £21.90

Im just wondering whats the difference between the two as both have Transflash by all accounts, or am i mistaken

For future reference:
always look at the manufacturer code when comparing items. Online sellers tend to post wrong item names/pictures, so the only way to know for sure what you're buying is by checking the manufacturer code:

pricestorm.com:
Manufacturer code: [COLOR=Red]SDSDQU-2048-E10M[/COLOR]

picstop.co.uk:
Manufacturer code: [COLOR=Red]SDSDQU-2048-E10M

Has anyone received an Ultra microSD card from Pricestore/W2W/XLShop yet? I ordered on the 17th of April and still nothing.

I was going to call tomorrow but their offices aren't open - does anyone have any news?

Check your order status, i placed orders not long ago for 2gb micro on w2w and xlshop but when i check status it showed as back order or something which means have no stock as yet.
#27
Yeah, mine are on back order too - I just wondered if anyone had called to see when stock will become available. I've never used w2w before and just wondered if they were going to be one of those companies that sit on orders indefinitely without any communication regarding availability.

If no-one knows, I'll call on Monday when they re-open.

Good to hear, I ordered an Ultra earlier this week and i'm already getting very impatient.
#30
well i bought this 2gb one from play and its very good - got some 34 games on it, so it keeps me pleased.
#31
I wouldnt hold too much hope for w2w/etc delivering the ultras by next week, most places are out of stock indefinately. Amazon who usually are good with stock dates state a 4 to 6 week lead time, up from a 1 to 2 week lead time.

Cheapest I could find in stock - £19.47 inc del

I've ordered near 100 items off play.com all arrived, yes it takes roughly a week to recieve it, this is because the item is being sent from jersey.

Ordered on Thursday, their website said in stock. On Friday the order status said "out of stock". Emailed them and they apologised and cancelled my order.

Anyone know where to get a Sandisk 2 gig ultra ? Dont mind paying a little more, as long as it's in stock !

Exactly the same happened to me last week when I ordered from them on tuesday I checked the status of the order and it was out of stock!

Bit poor considering the website still shows the item as being in stock.

I too am unable to find a 2gb sandisk ultra II in stock anywhere I have been looking for a while. I also find there is a new one just released called a 2gb sandisk premier which has the same speeds quoted not sure what the difference is from the ultra II if indeed there is anything, strange a different name but apparently the exact same performance.

This too is out of stock in the 2gb version but play shows it as being released on the 28th may for 17.99 - still too long to wait really.

Anyone know anywhere to get the 2gb ultra or premier card from???
#38
Picstop.co.uk has the 2GB Sandisk microsd Ultra II in stock. Ordered mine yesterday and it was dispatched today.

£21.90 + £2.50 p&p, a bit pricier than other sites but at least they have it in stock.

cheaper at mx2.co.uk and dvd.co.uk
