cold. it may be cheaper than everywhere else but i still think it's rather expensive
would rather wait a couple months and have about £30 knocked off the price

That's really smart logic

On that basis virtually EVERY deal on here is cold :whistling:

why bother with this site then!! everything gets cheaper over time - this probably a decent price for a pro photographer who might need a speedy large CF now! - surely personal opinions should not be used to make deals cold?

if its the cheapest out there now then its got to have some hotness about it ;)

having said all that if you google it you can find it at a few places for about £130 :p

Yes, and also cheaper on ebay..... BUT as any pro photographer knows, these are the most widely faked cards on the market. The cheap ones are almost always fakes or "refurbs".

A price comparison on these is only valid from a reputable supplier  ....unless you don't mind a fake card, in which case why bother with a Sandisk anyway.

Right with that logic, then hey, everyone hold off buying a PS3 until around summertime when I am sure they will be £250 instead of £300

I gave you some heat anyway mate!

Thanks to those who gave some support :) I appreciate that, as I was about to just delete the deal and give up on here

The point is not everyone wants a premium Sandisk card, and not everyone needs 32GB. But for those that do, it's the best deal I could find today

I needed a reliable, fast, large capacity card for my Canon 5Dii and this fits the bill. 32Gb is only minutes of video on that hi def camera.

Back to the main thread......I agree about buying memory cards from reputable retailers, Play have some of the best prices and you guarantee you dont get fake cards.

Been stung once on Ebay on a fake Sandisk Memory Pro Duo card, lesson learned...

Well, I'm going to add rep to both of you (above), as I can't stand this kind of online bullying :)

yeh sorry cannot justify spending that much on a mem card.
I take a hell of a lot of photos and never came across a time that i needed more memory
But then again i back up all the time.
id rather invest that money in a better lens

That's ok  If you don't need the capacity there's no point in it :)

My camera takes images that are between 20MB and 40MB per picture. That fills up memory rapidly, and when travelling my previous 4GB and 8GB cards were not enough :(

I have recently bought a Canon 5D Mark 2, to go with my Canon 40D crop cody. The 5Dii shoots at 21.1MP and RAW files vary between 20MB and 40Mb each. I've had to buy extra an HDD for my PC to cope :( Great camera though.

I can easily shoot enough stills in one day's shooting to fill that 32GB card.

Shooting high def video too, it can fill up that 32GB card quite quickly.

Here's an example image. I shot this Starling a few days ago, caught in the sun as it was setting.

My Canon 40D could not have done this image so clearly and with such smooth vivid colours in low light.
