It was listed as class 4 but the play link states in the write up class 2:

I believe it is class 4 like on the play.com webiste I will give a try

Nah, it actually SAYS in the description it's class 2. Ive bought one when it was first up here at the weekend. I'll see what it is when it arrives. Knowing Play - at the weekend (they're not as fast as Amazon, still quicker than 7dayshop and eBuyer though - a poor last)
Thing is, SanDisk are still the fastest of the class 2's though. On a par with many class4's.

there is photo for class 4 as well, I could not find different listing for class 2 maybe sandisk stop making class 2 and supply class 4? I bought last time from play and class 4 arrived, pretty good performance only 10% slower than my samsung class 6

For the people confused by picture, if you search by part number 0619659058500. it will only come up as Class 2. So it is definitely Class2.

CLASS 2?? wow are they still making them? even class 4 is too slow..class 2 is a complete joke.I'm sue majority of people that bought these had no clue about the speed range..

from sandisk forum:

''sandisk bumped the class on their standard cards from class 2 to class 4. it is likely that they still have some old packaging that is being used up and thats why some packaging still has the class 2 logo. also this bump just recently happened so pictures on the net will probably show class 2 for quite some time. ''

''SanDisk is recently changing all the speed class in many formats, as SDHC and microSDHC.
Regarding the microSDHC 32GB SanDisk of class-2 has been improved up to Class-4, but anyway it´s important to say that class means minimun write speed guaranteed but not máx. speed''

so that's why play.com sent out class 4 rather than class 2, propably sandisk is too confident about their card performance so basicaly put stickers with class 4 on class 2 cards as those are achieving easily performance class 4

I've got a 32g class 4 in my Archos and I've never had a problem with it being too slow. No stutters in playback or anything.

and i am sure the majority dont care about your clueless opinion either.
ofc on the other hand i am guessing most (like yourself) do 'know' that class 4 cards are faster than class 2 cards...oh wait thats not actually guaranteed.
