It's not the greatest of deals but may help somebody out with christmas stocking filler gifts etc.
The 4GB were £5 but the 2GB were something like £7.49????

No buddy not micro sd, just sd
#4
Nice price
#5
surprised not posted - been mentioned 10 million and 3 times though in the posts and reposts of the micrsd and usb stick threads
#6
I bought 2 SD cards and 2 micro SD cards at £5 a go so I suppose that means they are doing both ;-)
#7
i have seen that being posted before and the offer has been there for weeks now!
#8
I got one of these 2 months ago but it was the last one marked up that price so did not post it as I assumed it was a one off.

For those of you without a Morrisons near you, ASDA have the same 4GB card for £7 instore.
#9
last time this was posted Morrisons had very few in stock, and by the time I got there, all sold out.

I went instead for an 8GB Micro SDHC card from Play for 9.99, and already have adaptors for both Mini and regular SD.
#10
none in glenrothes
#11
I did look for these off the back of one of the microSD threads, but my local Morrisons (Cannock) didn't even have an empty place on the shelf for these. So looks like I'll miss out yet again... :(
#12
had then in Norwich last week... many threads reffering to them too.... didn't have the micro's, but had delivery and picked up 3 :)
#13
great price, thanks.
#14
heated. good deal for those with M near them.
#15
Not too bad, though i got the 8gb version for 9.99 over a year ago
#16
thanks got this today voted hot
#17
good price :)
#18
i believe these would work on my recently bought black wii

hot deal

Hot for me.

Just bought 4 of these thanks, they seem to come up cheap every few months, last time they were 6 quid I think.

I use em on a Panasonic HD Camcorder and the Class2 makes no difference.
(Also use on a Canon 10mp digicam and again no problems with Class2)

Yup, 'Class' refers to the minimum write speed only, not maximum, so it's possible (albeit unlikely) for a Class 2 card to outperform a Class 4 or 6. Do you happen to know what speed your camcorder writes at..? Just curious as to the speed of this Class 2 card.

I use a Transcend 8GB Class 6 in a Canon Ixus 800 (7mp) because the camera can write in excess of 6MB/sec (~2 frames per second) and it (card) actually writes almost as fast as SanDisk Extreme III & Lexar Pro for less than half the price - I paid about £12 for it in August.

surely its the minimum speed that matters for those (camcorder/camera) as once the required speed is met then extra is a waste unlike data transfer where uneven bursts are acceptable

That is a great link rep added:thumbsup:

Minimum actual speed, yes I totally agree. But minimum defined as per the SD Class system is not that helpful IMHO e.g. I reckon the question of is such&such a card/Class any good for such&such a device is pretty common. And SD Class is useless for devices that can write above 6MB/sec because although Class 6 cards will write at (at least) 6MB/sec you don't know how fast they will actually write until you read reviews, tests etc.

Maybe they should start using Class 8, 10, 12 and label the devices too :)

Just going to add that my local, worthing west sussex still have quite a few of these left.
#26
Picked one up from a very icy Mozzers at Fakenham,Norfolk this AM.
#27
Bump for this as it's a top deal and there are plenty available by individual store.

One tip is you may well have to ask for these at Customer Service as they are tending to be shoved away in drawers and forgotten !!

Same goes for the USB pen drive @ £5.

Good luck :)
#28
Are there any product codes etc to check over the phone as my local store has none and the next one is MILES away....

Cheers,

Rich
#29
Same as above, any way to check?

I went in today, and was looked at blanky stating they never sold or sell such item, and directed me to an overpriced memory stick instead?
#30
It's down to the individual store really, unfortunately Morissons are not the best with this type of product.
There is no product code to my knowledge and your best bet would be to find the Supervisor that fills the home and leisure section. Ask at the Customer Service desk.

My bet is there are lot that haven't even seen the light of day yet and are probably stacked away in some drawer or other.

Just so you know what you're looking for here's a link to the products on sale..........

I popped in today to quickly pick up some stuff and thought heh, despite not seeing any on display yesterday, I'll ask customer services anyway. It turns out they're storing them in the drawers like a few others said. Definitely ask if you can't see any around! :-D

Heat and rep, thanks!

This is still going strong at Morrisons. They had none on the shelf, but they had plenty behind the counter when I asked.
