Seems fair, i'll heat to that :)

seems a fair price but if you need/want speed then i still think you are better of paying a bit more for decent USB3 ones....that being said if you don't have any USB3 ports on your computers it doesn't really matter

I find it much quicker to transfer to a USB 3.0 stick with my rubbishy old 2.0 ports.

I'm not one for caring about speed, but it is a vast improvement.

yes i have to admit it is better but still the whole point of a USB3 port is speed...I have some great Voyager USB3 sticks that write at 70 mb/s which is fantastic and it makes using USB2 stick feel extremely archaic
#7
If u want real speed buy Lexar jump drive I be one and the transfer speed is Upton 192mb at USB 3.0

I've found a couple of prices from other suppliers to be more expensive. If people can find cheaper elsewhere please post the deal.

Thanks! i have been meaning to get a few usb sticks to back up my photos :) heat added

For a multi pack of 8gb usb2 sticks I'd be expecting a price below 3 quid each. not voting as I can't say if this is the cheapest around but I'd expect bulk to be cheaper per stick - no matter what brand they are.

Try connecting a SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 flash drive to a USB 2.0 port and you'll notice the difference compared to a bog standard USB 2.0 flash drive.

If your wanting cheap usb sticks for set and forget or odds and ends the Cruzer blade pack is £3 cheaper.

If you want a usb stick for a lot of use or transferring large files go with a decent usb 3.0 stick as they are well worth the cost.

You can't beat multipacks....

yes as above, agreed BUT to get the most out of them you really need a USB3 port..you wouldn't put Superunleaded in a 1.2 Fiat 500 would you...well i certainly don't...it might run slightly better but its pointless...but I always put it in my R8....as that benefits massively

i bought a few blade sticks before but the casings all split when putting in new laptop so had to return. I much prefer metal cased.
