I use one in an N95 original, I have the very latest firmware. I am not sure if the early firmware (V10 and V11) will be happy with 8GB but definitely V12 or later will.

True. You had to use the voucher. My bank account shows it being cheaper and is not bothered about how it it was achieved. My Quidco shows even more of a saving. Great price even so - especially if you were voucher averse the last time around.

Yes it will... but your card needs to be able to read SDHC cards... so TTDS, AceKard 2 will be okay for example but the R4 cards won't. Have this exact card working in an AceKard 2 at the moment.
#19
thanks for that ,do you think it will work in the ninjapass x9 ?

According to a review I just read, the Ninja pass x9 will only support up to 4GB, I don't know why that this is the case.

Supports the ultra large capacity TF(MicroSD)memory card upto 4GB(32Gbit).

This maybe because 8GB cards were not around when the review was written?

Will you send me a picture for my thread "Pretty please"?

so how do you get nintendo ds games on to this memory card? any specialist knowledge required?

or do you just buy one of these acekard things, slip the memory card in that, then drag and drop files on to the card?

i know my way round a psp - but have never looked into a ds

now i've received one as a gift

so i need an acekard & a memory card and that's it?

no need to hack, flash, downgrade, upgrade firmware, etc as on psp?

exactly

It doesn't have to be an AceKard (boots into normal DS menu and in my view a better menu system)... TTDS (boots into game menu automatically)... Supercard One (allows advanced game features such as real time save) are just a couple of other options. There are various threads on here about them... but www.dealextreme.com is the place to get them from if you want the cheapest.

I have set up some instructions on the AceKard set up:

Yes it works fine with the old N95. I used to have one till I lost it and paid around £50 for the card a few months ago.
