Seems a common price for an 8Gig but with the 5 year warranty it makes it a good buy

As much as I like Quidco, it probably still isn't enough to want to spit roast them.

They're Class 2

Don't be taken in by the marketing BS. Class 2 is way fast enough for a mobile phone ;-)

Thanks for that, but it's for a camera not for a phone. I normally by the micros as I've plenty of adapters then I can use it where I like later.

They are also fine for a camera.

Class 2 will be too slow for that as it can't handle the fast write speeds. Best to get Class 6 for 1080p HD videos.

I'd stay away from Class 2 personally, even camera PHONES like mine have HD video recording and high megapixel photo taking features and Class 2 would be slow.

They'll also slow down your cameras performance as it'll lag after each photo as it tries to save the multi--MB photo to the card.

If you've got an older phone, then sure, Class 2 should be fine, but a large percentage of phones coming out now are are smartphones which allow high megapixel photos and HD recording, so faster cards are best.

"Voted cold, last time this deal was on the either sent you the wrong item or cancelled your order and didn't tell you, so you were just expecting it to come for weeks until you logged into your account and saw it was cancelled."

I can confirm that last time instead of 8GB micro SD card, I received 2 gb SD card with a card reader. Then I had to go through the whole process of returning the product. After reading the above comment, it seems that play.com sent out the cheaper sd card to many customers, while charged to the 8GB micro sd card.
