Can anyone find any good deals on the 8GB Sansa Fuze for me?
#7
You can also fid this on Dixons and Currys for same price.
One of the few players to handle FLAC format

Only downside is that they don't have full colour screen. When I was looking for an mp3 player I considered this but thought i was much better, the pictures posted above give a better representation of its actual size. IMO, a much better alternative to the shuffle.

It is actually very small, if you have a local Currys/PC World you can pop in and have a look instore. I bought the 8GB Fuze last year but couldn't resist this one and use it all the time as it is very small, robust, excellent sound and it takes a standard mini USB cable unlike its bigger brothers which use proprietary cable.

Good deal, I recently purchased the same model for £48.91 from Amazon Uk, on the 27th March.
You cant go wrong at this price.
Great little system.

I've got one of these (from Currys a few months ago, it was £39.99 then!!).
Great price for 8GB, a few minor flaws but all in all a pretty good player.

The silver one has a mirror-finish screen, and is VERY difficult to see in bright light.

I got my 12GB Fuze from CDiscount a couple of weeks ago for £46 delivered. Unfortunately it looks as if they have stopped selling it with the 4GB now £49.99.

Had one since Christmas at £40 and can't fault it. Can't even fill it.

That is worth pointing out, although you don't need to much more than basic navigation it is tricky in sunlight - I tend to find covering it with my hand lets me see it enough to move through the menus.

Quick question for those who have this device - do you know if it starts replaying from the same point it stopped when you turn it off? I tend to listen to a lot of audio books and this feature is essential.

With music if you power down the device and back up again it will take you back to the exact point in the track you left it at however if you plug it into your PC it resets this position. However for Podcasts I think it rememebers where you were even if you browse away and came back, I'm not sure about audiobooks as I haven't used them.
