Can't believe these deals! About 4 years ago, I paid almost £70 for a 1gb SD card, and that was on a "cheap" website!
#3
I wonder if my canon A430 camera would take this, or whether it is too large. Anyone know?

Showing £10.99 for me

what is the difference between Sd card and SDHC card? and will it be read by a SD card reader? i need to buy one for canon dSLR camera (EOS 450D) which should accept both cards but i dont know which one to go for!!!!

Class 2 is a bit too slow for the Eos 450D really. It will take either type of card. You would be better off with either:
8GB Class 6 Transcend - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000P9ZBFA/ (£9:32 inc p&p)
16GB Class 6 Trandscend - http://www.picstop.co.uk/Secure-Digital-SDHC/Transcend-Secure-Digital-Card-SDHC-Class-6---16GB (£20:49 inc p&p)

Not SanDisk, but still a major well known brand, with a lifetime warranty.

There is a sense that for smaller megapixel cameras (e.g. under 8?) you could have too many pictures on the card (easily 5-600!) and if that card fails, you have lost them all. Even with top SLR's I tend to use 4GB cards max, and swap them - safer all round.

Does anyone know whether these will go in the Blaupunkt casablanca stereo that was recently on here? It says it takes MMC/SD cards.

Cheers

Price war between Amazon & Play, its official :p

Play.com have dropped the price of the same card to £9.99

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/4949650/SanDisk-8GB-SD-HC-Card/Product.html

Cheaper for those going via Quidco

Please check the device you are buying this card for is SDHC compatible. SDHC cards are not backwards compatible with standard SD Host devices, however standard SD cards are forward compatible with SDHC host devices

Probably 7dayshop, you could get a class 6 16GB SDHC for £17.99. Problem is the £3.95 postage, so only worth doing if you are buying a couple of things from them.

Same card, same price from Picstop. This time the postage is a more reasonable £2.50.

Along the same lines, the 4GB version is only £6.99- but it's £30 in PC World, so if you pricematch it it'll only cost £4.69. I did this a few months ago, but it was pricematched to about £8.
#22
does pc world stock 16gb cards?
