Was looking for a card for someone and stumbled accross this, seemed a pretty good price for a branded product

It is class 2 however, so may not be up to everyone's specs, but that 5 year warranty is a bonus!

This review says yes, but double check it is your model!

Could you post a link please, I can't seem to find it.

Class 2 - you could end up disappointed, just paid 12 to 7dayshop for 8gb, class 6, hoping the camera will notice the difference.
#9
buy their own 8gb which is class 4 for the same price
#10
The first card in that link was £13.99 last week, i got it but seems to have gone up now

RRP £49.99 - is this a joke?

You can get 8GB class 6 MicroSDHC (with adapter) for the same price at 7dayshop

Same card *is* £9.59, not sure about delivery though, plus the various quidcos and discounts.

I checked the other cards on 7DS and there are some bargains., I have never heard of Dane-Electric, anyone know what they are debranded from?

Can UCAS be used with RAC code? like both also how do you get a UCAS card?

Thanks.

This is a good deal ok but like another poster, agree that the RRP is grossly exaggerated. Its never £50. Might have been 2 years ago.
#15
never understoor why people write RRP in the case where we all know that its not of any use.
#16
Because the £50 RRP made me lol. It's listed as £29.99 on the 7 Day Shop Link I posted.
#17
RRP £49.99 ? LOL !!

Dane-Elec is a major memory manufacturer. It makes flash memory and computer RAM amongst other things.

Just bought a (reasonably) decent camera & need an SD Card.
Eyes lit up at an 8GB for less than £10.
Luckily logic overcame greed & I settled on the faster SanDisk Ultra II 8GB @ £4.50 dearer.

After all you wouldn't put a Reliant Robin engine in a Rolls Royce, (or even Vauxhall Astra).

Heat added though!
