Good price, but it's only Class 2, which might make it a bit slow for some purposes...

Dont think class 2 will be any good for my camcorder, good price for 8gb tho.
#3
Much too slow I'm afraid, although SANdisk is a good make, better offer here http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/288057/16gb-high-performance-transend-memo/

I've got one of these and tried loading Ubuntu from it on my netbook and It takes ages to load. I wish there was a higher class version for a similar price.

Hi, excuse my ignorance but would this be good enough gor a digital camera that supports sdhc cards?

Thanks in advance :santa:

Yes it would be good but photo's would take longer to write to card ok if you are
taking single shots but no good for multiple shots per second, best to get a class 4
or higher card the Transcend is ideal
#11
I'd pay an extra £1 for this

It's class 6, much faster. And as it's a micro card with adapter you can use it as a standard SD card or as a micro SD card

I ordered this item before i saw this thread - didn't even have a clue about all these different classes.

Anyone know whether Amazon do free returns? I'd much rather get the transcend class 6 now that i've learned what it's all about (for a canon ixus 80 cam and possibly future use, i mean, it's 8gigs).

i have a 2gb micro sd card for my lg viewty and it takes forever to load media on the phone. how do i know what speed class is my 2gb micro sd?

i also got a samsung u800. will class 6 cards work on this phone?

does it depend on card class speed or mobile spec for quick loading media?

thanks,
