Good Deal, certainly the cheapest I can find including delivery.

Never heard of MX2, so can't comment on their service.

That's not the same type of card for the same type it's more expensive

no thats an sd card. the compact flash on play is £24.99.

EDIT: sorry, somehow didnt see the post above!? neva mind!! :)

You'd have to add the £3.95 delivery charge to that one...

It's not the Sandisk Extreme 111 2Gb CF card.

I ordered from mx2 but was e.mailed out of stock, back order only with no estimated delivery date. Better off buying from Amazon for £22.69.

Cheaper and faster delivery from here http://www.valueshop.co.uk/info.asp?MFGno=SDCFX3-2048-902

Don't pay for the priority shipping, I just went with the 'free' shipping and it arrived next day!

£21.93 inc delivery.

I ordered a Extreme III 2gb last week from MX2 and it's been dispatched. I will let you know when I receive it.
#11
Are we sure this is ok as on the canon website it says CF I & II
#12
^ Extreme III is supposedly the best bet price and quality wise for the 400D.

I wonder how many people have mistaken the SD for Compact Flash? lol. I nearly did too! I ordered a 2GB from Amazon. I'm not sure if I trust a lot of the other sites anymore after hearing about so much fraud on Ebay.

That refers to the type of Compact flash card a type II being thicker than a type I

The Extreme III is a type I from Sandisk that has a much faster transfer rate than a "normal" Compact flash card.

Most Compact Flash is a type I. There was a version called a microdrive which isnt memory but a miniature hard drive and that is a type II.

This compact flash card works perfectly fine, mine was delivered by Amazon today and I have taken pictures on it already and transferred them to my computer without a problem.

I ordered mine from Amazon yesterday and it arrived today with free delivery.
#18
I wish I had flamin done that now, argh. I looked on mx2s website and it states that everything delivered within 2-3 days. so what happens, theyre out of stock until next week.

i really kinda wanted this for this weekend. Was that with the normal Amazon free delivery?

Does anyone know if this will work with the fuji S9600 Zoom?

Just want to let everyone know that today I received my 2gb Sandisk Extreme III from MX2. It has taken a about 9 days to get here, but you have got to take into consideration the easter Bank holidays and weekends. I today have sent my "FAKE" Sandisk Extreme III back to the seller on ebay who sold it to me. I only discovered it was a fake when Bonoman27 posted a link on how to tell the difference. If you haven't already seen it, here it is:

MX2 is well recommended. I will be ordering another soon.

photos are to important to penny pince. £19.99 no one could grumble.

dont waste your time with the fake sandisks for a few quid cheaper.

i have a real one from play and a fake one from ebay. when i realised it was a fake the seller didnt even reply to me or paypal. so paypal refunded. now i have a fake lying around and i would never dare use it.
#22
Hi Mr Play, I didn't realise it was a fake until 6 weeks later.

the sellers try to fob off its OEM. and they are very good copies.

at the time i bought the 2gb cards were costing around £80+ so for a OEM £30 seemed great. and of course not much to compare unless i had a original so i did believe i had a original. It was only once i became a little suspicous and found out that all most all the memory cards were fake on ebay.

before i knew i bought a sony 1gb memory stick for my girlfriend camera. came in what seemed original packaging. paid a bit extra p&p as it was for her holiday to venice with her family. arrived in time.

once in venice she realised the card did not even work. her mum ended up buying one from the shop.

lesson learned buy from a shop or rep online retailer like play.

Yeah Free Delivery. I was going to go with one of the sellers or the other sites mentioned but decided to order of a reputable company, one I could actually trust. They didn't let me down, it arrived within 24 hours. I'm actually still waiting for other items posted long before this.
