I got one of these some time ago, I think it cost me around £25/£30, and I'm impressed with the speed of it.

At £16 seems a decent deal to me.

I got one from amazon about a week ago

Great card, very fast, and yes it is the retail version, fully boxed with a code provided to download recovery software.

thanks for clarifying  , mine hasn't arrived yet.

I can confirm that the 7 day shop one , ordered recently, was not a retail pack and Play . com are still suppling the 20MB/s version.

Ordered for a (hopefully) upcoming DSLR.
Heat and rep added, thanks OP!

Discontinued card, replaced by a new series called Extreme at 60MB/s

got this 2009 summer for £24, it was cheapest one online!

I have had many sandisc cards without problems, all used daily

Plus I have sold the image rescue software on ebay for £1.50 + 75p postage which covers all the fees. Thats if you can be bothered selling it.

Please explain why the new cards mean this range is discontinued.

Have a look here

http://www.sandisk.co.uk/Products/Catalog(1003)-Imaging_Cards.aspx

They are still a current product, RRP of 36.99

It will work with the Fuji as it supports both compact flash and XD

the main issue is that the speed of the card is wasted, you can buy cheaper cards of the same capacity, your camera wont use the speed boost.

please can you confirm that it is this card that you bought from tesco for £12 and not just another memory card for a camera.

Thanks.

if you have a UDMA enabled camera then go for it , prices are dropping.

I know the Canon 50D has support and some card readers too.
nice if you're into fast action sports photography.

This may have been the Sandisk Ultra III CF card and not the Extreme such as this one, it was reduced to £12.33 from RRP £24in Tesco's although the cheapest I have seen but not by much as Amazon have the Ultra III for about £13 last time I checked.

I've 4 of these, 3 I bought when play.com were selling them at £12.99 and one from amazon at this price.

Been great cards, with no bother at all in both my SONY DSLR's, happily recommend them.

Great cards, but wish they'd do a deal on the 8GBs .....
