Hot!

However what I really want is a new version of the Cruzer Titanium, with USB 3.0 connection and 32 or 63GB storage space.

Hot from me too

Odered 4, Hot deal

I bought one of these and it's perfect for my car stereo, it's small size means I'm unlikely to bump into it when I'm changing gears.
#7
Cheap but slow.
#8
It says Hi-speed but does anyone know what speeds this does?

I snaffled an 8gb stick up for a few quid in a sale about 2 years back and it takes about 5 minutes to copy a file above 1gb over.
#9
Great Deal.....its size means the advantages outweigh the transfer rates. HOT

I paid £13.69 for this from Amazon a few days ago - is it still possible to claim back the difference from Amazon?
It is a bit slow but adequate for my purpose.
#11
Got one of these in my xbox and works just fine.

This will be much, much quicker than that. I have the 8GB version of this stick and a 1GB file takes around a minute.

There is no L.E.D. light display indication when it is operating.

There is no L.E.D. light display indication when it is operating.

That's a bonus for me as I use it in the car where a rapidly flashing LED would irritate me.

Too slow to make the 16GB capacity useful.

If you are using in a car and worried about knocking it - why not pay an extra couple of pounds and gethttp://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/14366702/Hewlett-Packard-V165-16GB-USB-Flash-Drive/Product.html?searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0&searchstring=16gb+usb&urlrefer=search ?

You mean too slow for you. Not too slow for me. This is a lot faster than the poor quality 7 Day Shop ones that I got 3 months from before it died (yes I heeded the warnings from reviews and backed it up regularly just in case). I'ts very lightweight but fits very snugly and solidly in the usb socket giving a quality feel to it. I must admit I miss the LED light too as I need to sometimes know when a transfer has stopped, but in terms of speed it depends on what you want to use it for. I transfer the odd film which takes more time, but I tend to keep lots of small-medium sized applications that I install on PC's as part of my job and it works plenty fast enough for that purpose for me, and personally I'd rather have the dependability and reliability than the speed.

I use mine with my USB stereo in the car, it does its job very well.

Fair enough it doesn't write very fast but who gives a crap, just go and do something else for 2 minutes whilst it writes!

great price :)

been cheaper and everyone seems to say its slow. Im not voting but i dont think its much a deal

You have to be careful with these things - the ports themselves are extremely prone to being squashed out of shape in small spaces. Pockets, for instance.

Slower than a drive i have had about 5 years, i would avoid one of these they are super slow :(
#34
The people who are saying this is too slow to be usable - can they recommend another stick at a similar price?
#35
No LED is no LED to fail, which is how I've lost 2 thumb drives. This thing is tiny though, I keep misplacing it. I'll just have to put it on a keychain or something.

Slow drive for slow people.

Get the dataferry instead. It's 10 times faster and more or less the same price.

People keep bitching about this drive being too 'slow', but I take it that a read speed of 15.69mbps will be fine for stutter-free playback of HD MKV files on a Blu-ray player? If so, I'll be happy to wait a few minutes while I transfer files. My PC is perfectly capable of multi-tasking, so it's really not a problem.

I guess some people expect the moon on a stick for 12 quid.

I am curious when this deal is getting so hot while everyone keeps complaining it is slow...
