USB sticks with this sort of capacity should be down below the £1 per GB price to be a good deal unless they have some other unique bonus like content already on it (films, software or special design).

These are HORRENDOUSLY slow.
Ignored people saying just that and bought a 16gb one for Xmas.
Runs fine, but Jesus wept.....loading the thing is slower than old usb sticks I have from 4 years ago.

completely agree. Perfectly fine for small files, would never use it for anything slightly big.

Ok if your not in a rush i got one & its super slow i would avoid it :(
#9
so peeps what would you recomend? I need one for my bluray player to expand its memory and to store digital copies of some movies
#10
Don't understand the constant speed issues - it's a memory stick! I've used one daily for a year or more to carry work files on if it takes a second or three longer I don't really care. Cheap, light robust What's not to like?

I'll backup those saying it's slow. I ignored them before and thought to myself it can't be THAT slow. It was and still is.To fill up a 16 gig stick would take over an hour.
#13
I have one of these and agree with the comments about how slow this thing is :(

Im glad to hear its not just me...i started to think my computer needed replacing!

Speed is more and more important now that USb sticks are getting bigger in capacity.

I just "Hackintoshed" a Dell Mini Netbook today and needed another shave, it took so long.

Anything more than £1 per GB is not good, however, these might be OK for the kids homework etc.

There's your key word, "Work Files".
I'm guessing that would be Word, Excel, Powerpoint documents etc.
This is fine for that, nothing much else.

Certainly not really suitable for large 1080p movie files.

This is -336.............why is this in the HOT section????

#25
nah seriously, i think it was made hot, then immediately cold straight after.

4gb for 6 ? not sure how its a good deal!

Jesus... this one bombed bad... i thought it was not bad... needed a memory stick in a rush, and was cheap enough to be non-noticeable... quite good looking too, and to be honest, who cares about speed for a memory stick?!? anyways, I can't post a winner everytime lol.

WTF! I would say nearly everyone cares! I guess you dont understand the principle behind memory sticks hence thinking this was a good price! oO
