Good price!

Great price for 8gb! What should I be looking for in a usb stick though? You know, so I know I've got a decent one
#3
Sandisk is pretty reliable. in my experience
#4
The 16gb version is on there for £17.99 too...Just incase that deal doesn't get hot
#5
Play......NO..Thanks..........after two cancelled orders...much happy with amazon
#6
don't forget quidco as well, they also cancelled my previous order.
#7
Good price, but a very slow stick. Data rates quite poor.
#8
I have the 4GB version of this stick and it's pretty quick.

Ordered. More stuff I don't need ordered simply because it was cheap. This site saves and costs me a fortune!

How is this a hot deal, when i posted the 16gb version for £16.99 it was Ice Cold?!
Looks like I'm not posting a deal again
#11
Isn't this like super slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow?

Like 3-4mb/s!

I would just give up with transfer speeds like that.

# On a side note - the PS3 has been officially hacked w00t =D

It has a slowish write speed (at least, the 16GB does), but a decent read speed. Very sturdy, good for going on a key ring to keep important files on the move.
#13
I can confirm that th is i s s l o w
#14
Slow speed probably explains the price tag, but for capacity:price ratio - nice deal (though wish I could have gotten hold of the 8GB Sony ones posted here the other day)
#15
Killer price for the capacity

You too ? THREE cancelled orders with me.
I also hear these are badly slow too
I'll give it a miss

Can anyone suggest reasonably fast ones for a decent price?

My thoughts exactly !
I'm just waiting for a few bargains to save for my Orlando holiday next year - a TOP line camera, the Canon SX210is paticularly, a couple of pairs of bargain-priced K-Swiss trainers (I'll not use them til I go - Ive already got 23 pairs off Amazon dirt cheap thanks to these pages !) Oh - and several pairs of top quality shorts and white socks !

Great deal... I get £20 for them all day long :) Decent brand name...

Slowww.... Obviously you drive at 20 in a 30 lol

Never had any problems with play myself, made load of orders. Even had a recent order arrive I made 6 months ago, it was a pricing error costing me £13 should have been £40. Order was in limbo as it was out of stock. They ended up sending be a box of 6 to make a double error. £240 worth of items for £13

Speeds are around the marks of those that I have mentioned - each site gives slightly more or lower speed.

In true HUKD fashion are more than happy to slate the product claiming it to be "slow", with little evidence, and perhaps even more frustratingly, no suggestion of what product might be better.

There's a life lesson to be learnt here: If you're going to complain about something, have a solution ready.

Exactly! I need to buy one, saw this which looked pretty cheap, everyone says its slow, but can't suggest an alternative!
#25
I have this one, i was surprised how small it was when i got it, perfect to go on a keyring.
It's been £12.99 for a while and thats what i paid for it so not £19.99 but still a good deal. Heat Added

The only "solution" here is - if YOU'RE happy, buy it.
If not, don't lecture others.

This is the equivalent of driving at TEN in a 30 zone.
If you're happy with them, then thats fab.

Dog-slow. Pointless having an 8GB stick when it takes you hours to actually transfer enough data to fill it. Plus trying to read video off it leads to stutter due to the low transfer rate. Rubbish.
#29
Cheers.Ordered 2.Will do the kids for school work.
#30
Very decent price
#31
I've ran 720P video off my 4GB Sandisk blade with no issues at all. Is the 8GB really that much slower? For a tenner it's a lot of storage to have available on your keys at all times. Top deal IMHO.
