Just wanted to leave a comment on this device, I have the 1 gb version of this, the structure is the same.

I just wanted to make buyers aware to be careful if attaching it to a keyring, the hole for the ring to go through is constructed of the same plastic/rubber coating that keeps the body safe from impact, only problem is that if it gets twisted it will break.
Mine broke, luckily my keys were in my briefcase so I didn't loose my data, but I could have.

As a Key Drive it works as it should, I'm just passing on a warning for anyone wishing to attach to a keyring.

I purchased the 8gig from Play.com a few weeks ago as it had already been put on HUKD,

any i have had no problems with my keyring snapping or bending and its in constant use.

It is the point where the loop meets the body of the case.

Maybe I just got a weak one, just trying to help.

great price. it's a very sleek memory stick - I've got the 2GB version on my keyring. The rubbery protective cover will go missing sooner or later though

Only if you loose it, it will :)

if you look after it, you should have no issues :-)

This one may be a better deal if anyone is concerned about failure of the keyring attachment:

11p saving compared to play?

it's a no brainer!!

I had the same thing. Mine fell off and I found it squashed on the road outside our house. Partially my fault through carelessness, but still would have been nice if it had been string enough to stay on my keyring.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now (since the Play one was posted) and it's good. So tiny it might be a problem for some (I get it mixed up with the change in my pocket!) but very fast and very reliable so far - and a major amount of space on it. Recommended.

But don't trust the keyring bit.

Good price for a Branded USB Flash Drive from a established manufacturer.

Can this be password protected? The tiny size puts me off a bit though

I want to get from Amazon as I have some gift vouchers from there but really I want a good reliable one that I can put a password on. What should it say if it can be password protected?

Wow, I payed £12 for the 2GB version not very long ago.

so it only formats to 7.46 using FAT32 package shows 8GB with an *
then they go to great lengths to tell you in 5 or so different languages (some of the data is not available)
So should they not mark the package 7.5GB?
Tossers!
