Thar' she blows!

(To add pictures into any future deals, on the 'deal info' page there will be an option for "Link to image file". Find an image of the item in question, right-click on the picture, select 'Copy Image Location' then paste that into the relevant box)

Hi.

To add a picture just right click on the image and select "copy image location".

Then, paste that location into the"Link to Image File" box on the Submit page.

To add a picture to a reply, left click on the picture icon (second from right) and paste the image location (in this case http://images.play.com/covers/5722174m.jpg) there, and the picture appears as follows:

http://images.play.com/covers/5722174m.jpg

Damn. Above reply was posted whilst I was fiddling around with cutting and pasting.

Call them up and ask for a refund, if they refuse then return it for a full refund and then purchase it again for the reduced price.

Called them already yesterday when it was 12.99, but they said no.

Probably will call again when I receive it, telling them give my 2£ back or take the order back..

I find it ridiculous that people whine it's gone down a little since they bought it, yeah it's unfortunate for you, but sheesh, get things in perspective.

You bought it at a price, get over it.

Bought one of these from Amazon for £2 more, would highly recommend it. Excellent value, size and performance.

Thanks, just ordered one and used my £5 voucher that I received from Quidco, so only £6.99 Even better bargain!!

£12.99

£39.99

I am amazed that this worked as it isn't the same item. PC World sells the same item that Play is selling for £17.99. You could still price match but the net price, after taking of 10% of the difference would be £11.39.

They look the same to me - what is the difference that I am looking for?

nice to see this getting cheaper. Anyone think the price will actually be lower from play.com at the end of october? Is it worth waiting until then as i dont need it til then...
#17
I also got a similar one price matched at PC world, they had it for £39.99 and I went in to price match it with Amazon who had it for £ 12.99 (i think) but Amazon ran out of stock so he price matched it with someone on the marketplace who was selling it for £8.49 and he didn't add postage so i got it for a bargain £5.34!!!!
#18
Thanks, just ordered one.

Apologies, you are quite right.

I was looking at the item from Play in the original post of this thread by mistake, rather than the one from Amazon.

hot !!!
good first deal!
Ordered one for our son.
thanks:thumbsup:

I got one of these the other day, there’s nothing wrong with it however the orange light at the end of it constantly flashes on and off which gets annoying.

Works fine with windows ready boost too, can’t really go wrong for the price.

Thanks to all (especially robot1000) who provided help & to sarcastic people like blackale ( :x ) who did anything but be kind.

Called them today & managed to get a refund of 2GBP. After all its hard earned money so the winging helped a bit.

Now sheesh I can get over it.. :whistling:

If you don't mind an extra few CM in size - I'd recommend getting this as it's much quicker;

Still hot for the price tho.

very handy and quick pendrive. You will probably loose a cap and rubber cover instantly but the main advantage of the drive is its solid built. Unlike most other pendrives this one has a plug and main body in one bit of metal, so it wont break as easily and for the price its a great deal.

Item purchased, heat added. nice find, been looking for one of these since purcahsing my new laptop to get files from my desktop to laptop. ta much!

This has been reduced to £10.99 now.
