I think they will be giving them away soon at this rate... ;-)

A good price, but in most cases an Extreme III would be overkill and a cheaper card could do the same job.

Excellent Price, ordered a few and voted hot :)

Voted Hot! Just a quick question however, can this be used with the Asus EEE PC. I've recently brought 1 & I'm looking to use the SD slot as an alternative means to the low storage?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, It's an SD card and that's what the Wii takes. Not sure if it will read the higher capacity SDHC cards or not though? I would get a cheaper card for the Wii though, as I doubt you will need the extra speed of this one. Play have 2GB SD cards for about £8 I think? I got an Extreme one for my camera, where the extra speed is more likely to help with continuous shooting etc...

yeah you prob wont need this for the Wii, a cheaper one would do. I'm using mine in the digi camera and on the PDA when running the GPS and playing music in the car.

also worth noting for anyone with a decent digital camera, that the extreme iii also comes with recovery software, raw workflow software via download (phase one), and a case!

Yeah I saw the original RRP was something like £50, and although I could poss. get cheaper SD cards, I liked the idea of photo recovery (just in case), may as well pay a couple of quid more and get something OTT.
Bargain.

Damn i bought this one from play, when it was £14.99 a week ago. Do they do a price drop policy like amazon?

Ditto - I'm sure they don't, but at this price, I'm tempted to buy another

Hold on a bit longer and they will be cheaper again, so no rush! ;-) I can't believe they are £22 on ebuyer for the same thing....

HELP! I have bought one of these to use with a digital photo frame. However, all my photos are on my computer. How do I get photos off computer onto SD card? Any help appreciated.
#22
An SD card reader.... But a fast card like this is a bit over the top for a photo frame!
#23
Has anyone here seen a noticeable difference taking photos with a fast card compared to a standard speed SD ?

I think it will depend on the camera as well - not all of them will be able to take advantage of it.
