Not sure why this is going cold. This is the super fast card at nearly 300 mb/s. Great price if you need the speed. I'm having two.

what type of equipment would we actually see this justify its price.

I have an sd card reader in my laptop, and it doesn't really matter what card I put in it, they all pretty much transfer at the same speed. very insignificant difference between them.

DSLR and Digital camcorders are the big two for me.

You may find that your card reader has a limited read rate, check the specs on your laptop

what equipment will benefit from this?

E.g a laptop with a suitable built in card reader or perhaps a attached USB 3 card reader, expensive camera equipment, faster pro photo shoots and in the wonderful words of the King from the King and I, etc etc etc etc

Good deal- as long as you actually get a genuine card from Amazon. Too many fakes out there.

Think of the application at the other end. A card with this speed works great in DSLR cameras, Cinema cameras and the rest to compliment the required write speed to enable the capture of quality video/picture, either as a main card or backup (although tend to use much larger memory sizes)... The transfer of data to the laptop/pc is just part of the workflow process.

Good price, not to be confused with the 95mb/sec card that looks the same but often around this cost.

Thanks OP, bought. I have needed one for a while and was going to get the 90mb/s one. This one wasn't a huge amount more in the end. Should be handy for shooting with my DSLR at 7 fps for longer than a few seconds.
