Hey guys.

I bought one of these last night, and just checked Quidco, and it's tracked at 4% instead of the stated 2%.

That means this card can be bought for as little as £57.59

The subject of cheap (usually fake) pro duo cards has been discussed at length on this forum.

Amazon Marketplace = fake

I'd wait on these.. other retailers will soon follow suit, also when the 8GB ones are released the 4GB will come down even more.

I bought a Sony 1GB memory stick pro duo off ebay about six months, when it arrived it looked genuine and i could send mp3's,pictures.ect.. to it no problem it was spot on. Then one month after purchasing it i made a play list of mp3's (approx 800Mb worth) and sent them from my PC to the memory stick. Every time it got to downloading 600-620Mb the card was full, even though it should of had 380ish Mb available still. needless to say it wasn't genuine after all and now its starting to come apart.

Then when the 8gb ones you will be waiting for 16gb ones.... my advice... buy buy buy!

i was thinking the same, but could be wrong.
#17
Just rung Sony Ericsson and they reckon the W810i can handle 4gb but he recommended not getting the ultra version .... wouldn't normally rely on SE's helpline info alone though as in the past I've experienced the info to be a little hazy.

Found a review on amazon saying they work with thw w810 but browsing was slow using the non ultra verision.
#18
thanks to the original poster. this was just what i needed.
#19
the restrictions in the SE manuals are only there because that was the biggest card available at the time

the 4gb sticks will work fine in the k750i and w800i model etc

Just bought one of these .

Thanks to the OP

Great price :) even better than the MyMemory deal over Xmas

Anyone know if I can use a £20 Amazon voucher for marketplace items?
#22
Hmm, I'll have to pick one of these up... I remember back when I got my PSP, I got a 1gb for £80 and that was considered to be a good deal at the time!
#23
Great deal. thanks.
#24
excellent... i went for the ultra2 card on play.com

Don't think so. Also don't buy from the marketplace unless you want a fake stick that may break at any time

Would my SE W810i crash or slow down if I used the 4bg card in there?

Or what's the worst that could happen to the phone?

Thanks

I think that to use the 2 gb with the K750i the phone needs the latest software update from Sony.
